I used to write alot, but.. Not so much any more. But I decided to write something about the Beatles because I never have before. I hope you like it.
Here's the first chapter.
She sat waiting, waiting for something to happen. But nothing did.
As the more time passed the more this seemed rediculous.
Nothing happens. Just probably an old story made up by teen children to scare their friends in some way or another. Yes, it was foolish to even begin to think their was some truth in it, but if it was hers she had to know.
Yesterday, Elise bought a chair. This was no ordinary chair. It was an ancient chair, one of the old king of England. Many say it was this that polluted his mind and sent him mad which led to his death. Others said it was just a silly superstition and in Elise's mind, they were right.
Even if they were wrong, what harm could a chair do? She thought silently to herself. It's not going to grow arms and strangle me any time soon, so there is absaloutly no use in worrying about it.
This chair would soon be shown to all her friends. Friends of great fortune who usually like to showcase whatever they bought, to them, the more expensive. The better. And she just couldn't help herself when she saw this chair. It was a magnificent brown, carved writing inscribed into the wood. It was fine, and she was proud.
Everyone would be gawking when she held her party tomorrow, and she would be centre of the talk again, after all, that's what she lived for.
All she ever knew was that she, like her perants, were filthy rich. And what better way to spend it on something priceless and antique. Her perants raised her into this world of money, fine dinner parties and genuinly nice wealthy people. She knew no different. She was only 19. And she had no worries what- so-ever.
She lifted herself out of the chair and stared at it once more. This really was valuable. She held her fists close to herface and shook them with excitement. She just couldn't wait for tomorrow night.
Elise's house was large, what more would you expect from someone who had deep pockets, the floor was wooden floorboards, and made a loud noice when she walked on it with her heels. She reached the front door and peared out of the curtains to see what the noise was about outside.
From a red car a man appeared, thin but handsome with shiny dark hair and amazing blue eyes.
She opened the door and stood in the doorway waiting for him to notice her when he did, he started walking over staring with wide-eyes at the size of the house she owned.
'Glad you could make it Paul' She said poshly, trying to look as nice as possible.
'This is, wow, It's amazing!' Paul stammered, he was standing by a large clay pot.
'Careful! That pot was recovered from tutankamens tomb!' She screamed pushing him aside gently and standing infront of it herself preventing him of getting near it again.
'Sorry', He apologized shortly.
'I'll show you your room, but for now just remember be careful!' She sighed.
She walked him up an endless amount of stairs or so it seemed.
Paul stared at the paintings as he passed.
He had no idea who the paintings were of, but he knew they must have been important if they were placed in this house.
Finally they reached a door, Paul stood gasping for breath. He had just walked two miles! He thought to himself.
'This is your room, watch out for the book case, it belonged to Einstien, you can unpack your things and browse around, and even swim in the pool if you wish. I hope you will join me for dinner, at five. Meet me in the dining room' She said as she slowly strode away.
'Which one?!' He called after her, but she kept walking making no sign that she had heard him.
Paul walked silently across the enormous room and slumped his suitcases down on the fourpost bed.
He looked around at all the wonders that Elise had collected. Half of this stuff a normal person wouldn't have even heard of.
If there were town awards I guess I would nominate her for 'Wierdest Use of House Hold Items'.
He began to place his clothes into the drawers being careful, and making sure he stayed well away from the book case.
Their were books in it which made him even more curious about it.
But he kept his hands away and layed down on the bed and drifted off into darkness.
He awoke to the ringing of his cell phone.
'Hello?' He spoke.
'Your'e late for dinner! Where are you?' Elise asked worried that Paul might be lost somewhere in the house.
'I'm in my room, I fell asleep I'm sorry, I'll be right down.'
'If I can find my way.' He added sarcastically.
'There is a map on the bookcase, Dont! Touch anything else okay?' She said eagerly.
'Ofcourse I'll be careful, I wouldn't dare ruin your bookcase' He replied.
He turned off his phone before she had the chance to answer.
He strode over to the bookcase, He hadn't seen that when he studied the bookcase before with his eyes.
He picked up the map and read it, Finally he found himself at the bottom of the staircase, where he saw Elise waiting in a beautiful gown, one like he had never seen before.
'Oh geez, I didn't know you wanted me to dress up. I'm sorry.' He said staring at her long thin black dress, which covere dher feet and dragged on the floor.
'Dressed up? What are you talking about?' She answered curiously.
'Never mind' he mumbled under his breath.
He walked over to the giant sized table in the next room and sat himself at one end.
'Don't sit on the other end Elise, I won't be able to hear you if you try to talk to me!' He joked.
'You'll be able to hear me, The room echos.' She answered slyly.
A short fat woman walked over with a plate over potatoes, pees, cabbage and corn.
'You only eat vegetables?!' Paul shrieked shrilly.
'No, The next course is the salad with ham. Eat up, before it gets cold.' She answered, picking up her knife and fork.
'Which fork should I use?' He asked amazed looking at the four forks that lay beside his plate.
'Any one you wish. The first is for this course, Use that.' She answered with a mouth full of peas.
Paul started to eat. The food was amazing.
The short fat woman returned holding a bottle of champaigne.
She filled his glass to the top and started slowly walking away.
'Thankyou miss!' Paul said loudly as she walked away, she did not turn or stop, but walked through the door into a room which must have been the kitchen.
'You must do nothing all day' Paul said to Elise staring at her.
'I work!' She replied discusted.
'My lady, I meant no disrespect!' he said in a posh voice which made her giggle.
