I can't agree on Paul with that. I mean what difference does it make anyway? I still think Paul deserves the rights a tad more then Yoko, and definitely a LOT more then Jacko. I have nothing against Yoko, it's just that, he wrote them. He should have his music, and Yoko could have John's. But, hm, what do I don't know.

Yeah, I've always thought it was a bit petty. I mean, the people who are non-fans to sort of fans probably assume that "Lennon/McCartney" means equal contribution. I know that's what I thought before I became a bigger fan. "McCartney/Lennon" implies the same thing... equal contribution to the song. And anyone who's a bigger fan knows that Paul did "Yesterday" all on his own even though the credit reads "Lennon/McCartney." So there doesn't seem to much of a point to me....
Besides, "Lennon/McCartney" is alphabetical order... isn't that how song credits usually go?

Yeah - no real difference, really. If it's going to be Lennon/McCartney, it's going to be Lennon/McCartney, you know? People recognize that, it's too well known to change

Yeah it is really doesn't matter. I love the songs no matter if its Lennon/McCartney or McCartney/Lennon. But Lennon/McCartney just sounds right, I guess I'm just used to it by now. But yeah, he definitely deserves the rights to 'Yesterday' mhmm. It was his song. Wow from reading some of my posts, I say 'just' and 'y'know' a lot. sorry if it gets annoying.

Actually, I've heard that Paul only wants the lennon/mccartney changed for Yesterday, because for a while Yoko was getting more royalties from it then Paul was. I totally agree with him, it is afterall HIS baby and John didn't help at all. I think John would want it changed, because he knew it was all Paul's.

Well than, I think it should be. If it's just that one song, then what the hell?

As long as he's doing that, there's no point in just switching the names. John didn't bloody do anything, change it to bloody 'McCartney' if that's what you bloody want. All or nothing. I'm frustrated with this wishy washy 'oh, paul wrote it so his name should be first'. If Paul wrote it, it should be Paul's name.
