What does everyone think of Concert For George?
I have the DVD and watch it constantly. It's so wonderful.
My personal favorite parts are the Monty Python performance, especially The Lumberjack Song, the performance of Isn't It A Pity, and the performance of Something is my absolute favorite thing.
What about everyone else?

I don't have the DVD yet because as usual, I'm broke. I saw the concert when it was broadcast on PBS though. They cut some parts out (Monty Python, grr!) but it was still amazing... I was a little creeped out when Paul, Ringo, and Dhani Harrison were all onstage together since Dhani looks so much like George.

Oh, I know, it's so funny. Did they leave in the part at the end where Paul ran up and said, "One thing, real quick! Olivia said, with Dhani up here, it looks like George stayed young and we all got OLD!"? It's hilarious, because that's what I'd been thinking through the whole thing. ;D

I loved Paul's performance of Something with the ukelele. (Excuse my spelling.) Ringo's performance of Photograph made me cry. As did the bit where all the flower petals or whatever fell, and they showed the picture of young George, and then cut to Dhani. Oh man. Dhani is so adorable, and he does look SO much like George it's scary. The Uncle Ringo thing was very cute, as was the story Ringo told about trying to teach him how to play drums, and Dhani running out of the room, screaming. Poor child. There was one cut that creeped me out though, it was old Paul in the front, old Ringo in the back, and young George (aka Dhani) in the middle. I don't know. It was kind of creepy. But I loved the DVD and I love the album, especially the indian music bit, I always fall asleep to it.

Oh it is! Emma got it for me for Christmas. I loved it so much that I carryed it around for weeks in my purse! I could never figure out why, when I walked in stores the alarm would go off! After Emma and I had been shopping and I set off all the alarms Emma stoped me. She asked if I still had the DVD in my purse. I said yeah, and she took the case from me and took out the little security device from inside. Yeah, I felt really stupid about it. Although I did carry it in my purse for about three more weeks.

Ahahaha that's amazing. For a while, I always set off alarms because (I'm going to sound like such a cheeky idiot) I found one of those little security devices on the floor and I didn't know what it was and I thought it was pretty so I put it in my shoe and left it there.
