Ya know what Ravi Shankar says at the beginning of the concert always makes me incredably happy and sad at the same time.

Ok, I just bought Concert for George today, in fact, I just got home. So I've yet to watch it. It sounds incredible. I'll post about it when I've finished.

I loved Paul's performance of Something with the ukelele. Paul did that performance during his last tour. Oh, and never mess with security tags, by the way. You might have me asking you to lift up your shoes one day (*ahem* Crow ). My Dad got the Concert DVD out of the library for me a few days ago....planning on watching it tomorrow. ;D

That was pretty emotional for me. When I first saw Dhani on stage I cried. He even plays like George. Then I calmed down, then Paul came with the ukelele and I lost it. Then I cried again when Dhani spoke at the end. When Ringo and Paul hugged it was so happy for me. I don't do well with deaths, watching Imagine: John Lennon was the worst. I can't take the grief all the loved ones had to go through. I probably sound like a wimp, but I am very emotional at times (recently my stepdad who was the father figure in my life passed away so seeing Dhani, Sean, Julian, talk about their fathers is so hard, I guess that's the cause of the emotion)

No, I totally understand. I cry whenever I see anything having to do with John's death, and I have yet to watch Concert For George without crying, especially at the parts you mentioned.

Oh my god yes! He is the cutest thing I have ever seen. That picture is just freaky. I mean the resemblance is unbelievable.

It really is. What especially freaks me out is when he's playing guitar. He has a lot of the same mannerisms as George as well as looking like him.

I really have to watch the DVD today...
Everyone posting about it makes me more and more intrigued, so I must.
I'll let you ladies know later what I thought, and I'll keep the parts you've mentioned in mind.
