I've never seen the CFG, but I really want to (who doesn't ) but, I've got the Back In The US CD (which, I must admit, isn't that great. I just don't like Paul live.) and Paul on the last track of the first CD plays Something on the uke, right after Here Today. I came close to crying the first time I heard both of them.

Finally saw Concert for George cause they replayed it on some local channel. yay! actually I'm watching it right now as I'm typing.... and I just had to write this: during "my sweet lord" it showed Dhani singing and he did that singing-out-of-the-side-of-the-mouth thing George always did!! SO WEIRD.

A while ago I couldn't fall asleep unless the Indian music from CFG was playing, but I eventually ended up memorizing it, and as soon as I memorize something it doesn't put me to sleep anymore (unless, for some reason, it's John. but not if he's singing a Beatles song. Only solo John and only certain albums - Imagine keeps me up but Mind Games and Plastic Ono Band put me to sleep). So I got a new Ravi Shankar album to listen to. It's long and it puts me to sleep so fast I doubt I'll ever memorize it XD

I love how Joe Brown sings "That's the Way it Goes"
But I don't want to be mean, but his hair is odd, it's like silver-ish and like 'flowy.' I don't know I'm weird and have seen this movie way to many times.

I was watching CFG last night and it just hit me... isn't it a bit funny that Eric Clapton sings Something with Paul when George wrote it for Pattie? I found it ironic.

uhm i didnt know where to put this under but heres my story: ok so today me and my sisters and my parents went to wickes furniture to get new couches. when we finally chose some i asked my sister if we can go to the guitar center (a store in the same shopping center) while my mom and dad did the paperwork crap. so as we walked at the front of the store we noticed this huge painting on the window of george harrison! it was so cool i guess in memery of him. he was wearing the beatles suit and had a red guitar and the background had like a sunrise or watever and that little horse, dark horse is wat its called i think. it was so cool it looked just like him cuz it was him.so we went inside and there was a lot of guitars i want one!!!! so there was like beatles records on the wall and the books that had the little note thingies to play songs and thats it.
