Aw that's a really sad song if you think about it. It wouldn't be, but now..it is.

The lyrics of How Do You Sleep are kind of sad...
Working Class Hero and Mother are scorchers.... I bring Mother references up a lot... we were reading these poems called "Daddy" in English so I started talking about "Mother"

The acoustic version of 'Real Love' is now officially my crying song. When I watched Imagine: John Lennon, for the first time, I was crying at the end when they show all the people screaming and sobbing and singing...So, it was late, so, feeling bad from crying (still doing so) I went up stairs, collapsed on my bed staring at my Imagine poster, and turned on the Stereo. I had Acoustic in there, on random, and 'Real Love' came on first...if I was crying before, I just EXPLODED. Now whenever that version comes on I either cry or get really really sad.

I don't know if anyone will update this thread again, but I just have to add my two cents.
Pretty much all of John's songs make me cry, but Real Love really gets to me. Especially the video on Anthology. The In My Life video is sad too.

Working Class Hero gave me goosebumps when I first heard it. I watched "Lennon Legend" DVD and they had it on that biography of him. I cried at that one. "Real Love" is a crying song too.

I cried at Beautiful Boy the other day... When it got to the line, "I can't wait to see you come of age" I was already in a weird mood and I just lost it.

The first John Lennon song I ever cried to as Grow Old With Me. I also cried when I heard My Mummys Dead and Woman.

Julia used to make me cry as well, but I thought I couldn't use that one because it was written with the Beatles, but I read through the thread and others had so, I will add that one as well.

When I was 5, I got up on stage and I sang am impromptu "We Are Family" at my Aunt and Uncles wedding. Didn't know the words, made them up ala John, everyone but me cried.

It's true! I was wearing this little red velvet vest and pants with a white shirt (trying to make myself sound cute) and just jumped up and belted it out!
I am dork. I still do that stuff!

"Real Love" makes me cry and so does the video. "Imagine" makes me cry. "In my lief" as well. But one that really gets to me is "Grow Old With Me (God Bless Our Love)" yep really sad... ...
