I was feeling cynical and yes a little bitter on Valentine's day so I made my "Love Stinks" or "Anti Valentine's Day" mix... containing...
1. Love Bites by Def Leppard. Because love bites, love bleeds, it's bringing me to my knees!
2. Piece Of My Heart by Erma Franklin or Janis Joplin, your choice. Take another little piece of my heart now, baby!
3. Love Stinks by the J. Geils Band. Shout it out with me... LOVE STINKS!
4. You Oughta Know by Alanis Morissette. I'm here to remind you of the mess you left when you went away.
5. I'm Not In Love by 10cc. And don't forget it. It's just a silly phase I'm going through.
6. After The Love Has Gone by Earth, Wind and Fire. What used to be right is wrong...
7. Love Hurts by Nazareth. Because love is just a lie made to make you blue.
8. Love Song by Madonna (feat. Prince). This is not a love song that I want to sing.
9. I Fall To Pieces by Patsy Cline. You walk by and I fall to pieces...
10. Paint It Black by The Rolling Stones. With flowers and my love both never to come back...
11. Oh! Darling by The Beatles. Go ahead and scream out this one along with Paul. You'll feel better.
12. I Can't Make You Love Me by Bonnie Raitt. 'Cause I can't make you love me if you don't...
13. Alone Again, Naturally by Gilbert O'Sullivan. I truly am indeed alone again, naturally.
14. Goodbye To Love by The Carpenters. I'll say goodbye to love...
15. On My Own from the musical "Les Miserables". On my own, pretending he's beside me...
16. Without You by Harry Nilsson. No I can't forget this evening or your face as you were leaving...
17. One For My Baby (And One More For The Road) by Frank Sinatra. We're drinkin' my friend, to the end of a brief episode.
18. But Not For Me by Gershwin. They're writing songs of love, but not for me.
19. I Will Survive by Gloria Gaynor. Because, yes, we WILL!

Those mixes sound really cool. I’m trying to hunt down some of those songs now. (Janis Joplin’s ‘Ball and Chain’ tears my heart XD she rawks) I always make my own Beatle compilations. The one I listen to when I come home after a hard day’s worth of being bored-out-of-my-brain at school is: “Unwind to the Beatles in 30 minutes” Its mostly George and Paul (they were the soppiest Beatles ). Its exactly 30 minutes and one second. Perfect. It was initially ‘Unwind to the Beatles in two hours” because they made SO many gorgeous songs, but due to time limits I had to keep only the most relaxing of them. This is the extended version (1 hour, 15 minutes). I call it “Unwind to the Beatles during dinner, using your diskman and ignoring the family conversation” (only for aggressive moods): The acoustic versions of 'something' and 'while my guitar gently weeps' and 'here comes the sun' are absolutely gorgeous. just George and a guitar XD. 'Imagine' live (which is really also an acoustic version) and 'yesterday' live are also beautiful. and 'While my Guitar Gently Weeps' and 'Something, are both with Eric Clapton. His guitar-playing is amazing. I’m now working on a ‘psychedelic mix’ of the Bearles most trippy songs (I am the Walrus, Tomorrow Never Knows, etc). Fun.
