" 'ey," it was George "I need you to help me with something." He looked very nervous.
"What is it?" Lauren asked
He sat next to her and pulled out a box.
"George!" Lauren said when she saw the ring.
"Do you think Jan will like it?" He asked
"She'll love it!!!!" Lauren replied "ARE you asking her tonight?"
"Yeah," George said looking at his watch "in about 20 minutes"
"Go, and good luck." Lauren watched him go down the stairs and out the door. Paul came up and put his arms around her hips.
"What ya lookin' at?" He asked with a smile.
"George is goin' to ask Jan to marry him."

Paul got a twinkle in his eyes.
"Would you like to support them?"
"Sure, but wouldn't they know it was us?" Lauren asked turning and looking at him.
"Not if we're disgused." (sp?) Paul said taking Lauren and walking her into their bedroom.

George sat starring at Jan.
"She's beautiful." He thought as she smiled at him.
"That was a great dinner." Jan said
"Yeah it was."George replied holding the box. "Jan, I need to...." George was cut off
"Excuss us." A man who looked like he was in his mid 30's asked "My wife and I saw you two over here and thought we should give you this." He handed George a small box. George looked back at the man and his wife. They looked strangley familiar.(sp?) they both walked off with both Jan and George watching.
"That was weird." Jan said still watching the door. George opened the box to find a sheet of paper. It read:
"Go Georgie!!!! You can do it!!!! Ask her to marry you an make me proud!!!!
Good luck, Paul and Lauren."
George smiled then looked back at Jan.
"Jan,"
"Yes?"
"I fell for you the second we met. You were there when I was trying to figure out love."
"George?"
"Jan marry me?"
He got down on one knee and pulled out the ring

Jan sat in shock, but then began nodding her head.
"Of course!" She said. George put the ring on her finger and kissed her.
"Yay!" Cam a voice from in front of them. they turned to see Lauren and Paul, still dressed up with a bottle of champagne(sp?)
"Congrats!"
