"I'm checking Beatrice Webb in." Cyn said into the receiver. She hung up and looked at Paul.
"Who's Beatrice Webb?"
"She's the code name for your wife, Bernard." Cyn said grabbing George and Paul and yanking them upstairs.
They found Lauren laying on the floor,sweating.
They ran her out to the car and zoomed off.

Paul paced back and forth running his hand trough his mop top.
"Paul sit down," John said
"Yeah, worrying isn't going to make it any better." George said. He had noticed the look on his friend's face.
"I just wish I was back there to get her through it."
Paul said. His friends sat him down.
"Paul, I'm goin' to tell you something a very wise person once told me." John said trying to calm Paul down. "She knows you love her, that's enough to get her through this pain. The next time you see her, you'll be a father."
Paul smiled, "Thanks John, that helped. Who told you that?"
"You did Paul, when Cyn was having Julian." John said returning the smile.

Beth and Rachel soon joined them in the waiting room
"WE thought you'd need us." Beth said grbbing and chair.
"Yeah, Paulie , You know you do."
Paul smiled, he knew this was true. He needed everyone he could get.

After 4 hours and 5 games of speed Cyn came in. Nobody noticed her come in. She waited until Paul was looking away, then steped forword and set the bundle in his arms. He looked back at his lap and saw a the sleeping child. He looked over at Cyn.
"Congradulations Paulie, it's your daughter. Her name's Mary, as a tribute to your mum." Cyn said with a smile. Paul looked back at Mary and smiled. He stood up,
"Can I go see Lauren?"
"Yeah, take Mary with you."

Paul slowly opened the door to find Lauren asleep. She look beautiful. He set Mary in her arms and kissed his wife.
She opened her eyes to the sight she enjoyed most, Paul's round eyes and smiling face.
