She smiled and steped into his arms. They danced and as George spun her she saw Paul dancing with Jantina and John dancing with Cyn. She faced back towards George, she had never noticed before,but he had a very angelic look to him. He tried to hold back his smile as he looked at Lauren. Paul was certainly a lucky guy to have her love. She rested her head on his sholder as they danced. When she had first seen them George had been the only one to notice her at her little counter. She had watched Paul bring in different girls, but in a week they'd be gone. She never thought she would be the one girl to catch his eye and keep his heart.
Paul looked across the room at his wife. She was the only girl he had ever had the feeling of if "he didn't have her he'd die" about. She turned her head towards him. He winked at her and she buried her face in George's sholder. That was one of Paul's favorite qualities, how he could do something like wink and it would make Lauren blush.
The song ended and Paul went over to get Lauren.

John gave everyone a glass and they gave a toast.
"Well, Paulie," he started "we always knew someday you'd find that one girl."
"It took you awhile though." George said
"But it did happen and now, you have a little wife of your own." John replied
"So, what John is trying to say is, go Paulie, you've made us proud. We did good with you."
John walked over to him and said "that's your que to go upstairs."
"Okay, good night guys." Paul said taking Lauren's hand and taking her upstairs. They watched as Lauren went into Paul's room and Paul shut the door.
John turned towards the others and said "Our little boy is all grown up."

The next morning, Lauren woke up in Paul's arms.

Ringo, Mallory, and Mindy all snuck back in the house. Theye thought it's early in the morning so everyone would be asleep. They were wrong. John sat in the front room reading the news paper.
"And where have you been?" he asked

"WE were out." Ringo said quickly
"And where might 'out' be?" Paul asked he had walked down the stairs and stood with Lauren at his side.
"uh," Mallory said panicing
"Would 'out' happend to be at the Ad-Lib club all night?" Lauren asked, she knew the answer. They club had just called to say Mindy left her purse.
Ringo, Mallory,and Mindy stood, looking like they'd been caught.
"How'd you figure it out?" Mindy asked, barely able to speak.
"We got a call an hour ago saying Mindy left her purse." Came George's voice from the kitchen. Mindy looked at her side and noticed it was gone.
