After the usual nightly bussel the house soon settled into a quiet location. Julian slept through the night, which gave John and Cyn some time to themselves. Lauren sat in her own room and fell asleep with the thoughts of everything ahead of her. It still hadn't sunk in that monday was all that stood between her and the wedding.

The next day was very busy, everyone was busy with something. Ashley was taking care of Julian, Cynthina was out with John getting things for the wedding, Mallory and Mindy were cleaning, Lauren and Paul were looking at wedding cakes,and Georgeand Ringo had still not come back from the dates they had gone to at 9:00.
When 7:00 rolled around and everybody had finished their tasks, Paul and Lauren went up stairs to relax while everyone else sat downstairs. John kept looking at his watch.
"John, are you waiting for something?" Cyn asked noticing his constint checking. A knock came on the door. John got up to answer it.
The next thing they knew there was a 3 and a half foot dark chocolate cake sitting in the front room. It had a thick carmel topping.
They all sat there then looked at John.
"Cyn, this is your que to go upstairs." John said helping his wife up.
She did and told Paul to go downstairs.
"Okay,"he looked at Lauren "I'll be back love."
"I'll be here." She replied as he shut the door.
"What's all this?" Paul said noticing the huge cake.
"Sit down Paulie," John said pushing his friend in to a chair and sticking a hat on him "this is your party."
Paul looked at Ringo and George.
" He did this all by himself." George said. He was not guilty.
"It's a big cake?" Paul asked looking back at john.
"Come out now Kas, love." John said into the huge cake.
A woman with peircing green eyes wearing a black cat suit popped out. Paul sat there with his mouth hanging open.
"John, Lauren is right up stairs." George said speeking for his friend who was in shock.
Kas took a hand full of cake and walked over to Paul.
She stuck a piece of it in his mouth and smiled. Paul came out of his shocked state and looked around, he soon noticed the tall woman in front of him.
"Hi, I'm Kas." She said flirtatusly
" 'i, I'm uh...."
"Paul" John said from his chair.
"Yeah, Paul." Paul said trying to not stare into space.
"Oh, well I love the name Paul, that Lauren girls very lucky."

Paul just nodded and try to figure out how he go there.
She did a little dance around his chair, then said "Sorry guys Rod's waiting for me." She then disappeared into a cloud of smoke, the cake mysteriusly going with her.
They all tried to comprehend what had just happened.
"Well, that was fun." John said smiling.
"Yeah, that was great." George said
They looked over at Paul, who was just sitting there.
"I think we over stimulated 'im." Ringo said as they walked over and began poking at him.
" 'ey stop it." Paul said snappping out of it " that tickles."
" 'e'll be fine." John said grinning

Meanwhile Lauren and Cyn played around with Julian and chatted.
"I think we can go downstairs now." Cyn said with a smile.
"Why have we been cooped up here?" Lauren asked as they headed downstairs.
"John threw Paul a party."
"Oh."

Lauren saw Paul sitting ib his chair still with a shocked look on his face. She went and sat next to him.
"Paul, are you........." She said, when Paul grabbed her and started kissing her. The last look Lauren had on her face was suprise.
" He's just letting off a little steam." John said putting his arm around Cynthia's waste.
"Obviously," Mindy said, her and Mallory had been upstairs finishing their rooms.
"Yeah," Mallory said looking at the akward(sp?) scene in the front room.
Paul finally stopped went they both ran out of air. Lauren tried to figure out what just happed and Paul had a pleased look on his face.
"You would look happy after something like that." george said cooly.

"Well, it's his last night as a single man. Tomarrow he's gettin' married." John said putting his arm around his friend's sholder.
That's when it sank in, Lauren's eyes got really big and she looked at Paul with a big smile.
"We're going to be married tomarow." Lauren said holding back the excitment in her voice.
"Yeah," Paul replied taking her hand and kissing it.
"aww, isn't that cute." Ringo said from his seat next to Mallory on the couch.
Paul and Lauren didn't notice, they were off in their own world.
