fine. I'm not lazy.
but it's bad. this story just gets worse and worse.
Paul’s smile quickly dissipated, and he ran over to the girl who was lying, dead to the world, on the floor. He looked up at michelle, slightly sadly, as if he saw this everyday, and looked back into her face. Her eyelids fluttered, and she looked up at paul, who was practically sitting on her. She gasped and shut her eyes tightly again. Paul looked up at michelle again, and whispered, “Y’think she doesn’t like me?” Michelle giggled and walked over to the minibar to get a coke. Caron had woken up for good and was practically crying in the presence of her idol, and Paul was smiling at her. He stood up, took her hand, and walked over to the couch, with the stupified Caron. He gave her a glass of water, and as she sipped it, they smiled at each other. Michelle sighed and threw herself onto the sofa. Living in the past was hard work. The door banged and Ringo walked in. “Hallo luv,” He addressed Michelle, and looking over at Paul and his new girl, he gestured and whispered, “who’s that?” Michelle whispered back, “It’s Caron. She’s paul’s latest find.” Ringo nodded and plopped himself beside Michelle, and put his arm around her shoulder. George came in behind Ringo, and seeing the two couples on the couch, made a face and laid down on the armchair opposite. Ringo joked, “What’s wrong georgey? No girls fer you?” George made a “hmph” sound and crossed his arms. “Girls are overrated, anyway.” He muttered more to himself than anyone else. Ringo snorted and tightened his grip around Michelle.
Suddenly she realized that John and Aurora were still alone, in the bedroom. She shouted, “Rory!” and jumped up. She pressed her ear against the door of the bedroom, and heard silence. She opened the door quietly and saw the picture of innocence: Aurora was lying on the bed with her head in John’s lap, while he stroked her hair. Michelle smiled and shut the door softly. Course Aurora wouldn’t have sex with him. She would lose a fiver.
