Ok, I've never written a fanfic before. I've never read one until I joined this board.
Well, here's my first try. It's going to be a sad one, but I hope you guys like it nonetheless. It features George, of course, and his beautiful hands. But a tragic accident occurs that allows everyone he loves to reflect on his importance in their lives.
Tell me what you think.

His fingers were long and pale; thin, but finely made. He prided himself on these hands. These hands had made him millions. These hands were worth millions. Elegantly, they would dance across the strings of his guitar. Effortlessly, they would weave their vibrational magic – their acoustic marvel. Music was his life, at the center of it was his guitar and upon his guitar rested always these fingers. Without them, he would not know what to do. No more of his music would grace his fine home, his fine wife, his fine studio, his fine friends. Without these hands.
He shook himself as consciousness slowly ebbed back. His hands had been resting on his steering wheel while his mind wandered and his eyes closed. When they snapped open he saw only the blinding light of an oncoming truck.
“Too late...” his mind thought but his body ground into action. “It’s all over...”whispered his heart but his knuckles turned white as he gripped the wheel with such force as they had never before known. “It’s all over...” it said again but his arm disagreed and spun the wheel violently. The car swerved away from the flooding lights and, instead, met the pitch-black of a tree.
George Harrison then knew only the red of pain and blood and the dark of unconsciousness.
Ok. Should I bother to continue?
