Character's:
Me - Sarah aka Icee.
Lauren - Zap, the cynic and smartarse.
Emma - The boss, the queen the sensible one.
Hannah - The other boss, the crazy one. Never missed an American Idol episode, and always joins Emma when watching Harry Potter movies over and over.
Mindy - The other other boss, not so sensible though. Always rambling about something to do with Paul McCartney.
Olivia - The girly girl. Who is a bit slow at times, but when it comes to cleaning and dishes, she's the only one willing to help.
Rachel - The creator, always painting, singing or dancing.
Patty - The other boss of Shining Times Station, she's like the teacher of the class. (Likes to hide Harry Potter movies)
Lucy - Strong willed, caring never gives up when trying to clean the bathroom floor.
Nelli - The obsessive compulsive fashionist.
Laetitia -(Other Lauren, we just get confused so we resorted to using her french name) The only one who doesn't clean Shining Times Station, she sits at home all day, and counts her records. And if ones missing, she wont hesitate to confront you verbally about it.
Abbey - The bookworm, always carrying her shoulderbag full of english literature novels, such as "The Great Gatsby" "Hard Times" by Charles Dickens and "Othello" along with various other shakespeare novels.
Jantina - Paul McCartney obsessed, crazy with chocolate and other types of foreign candy.
Joanna - Meek, shy girl. Guess that's the only way to describe her. The "Quiet" one.

"Ughhh don't!! Don't don't dont!" I grumbled from underneath my pillow.
"Ah, come on! Get up, we'll leave you behind!" Emma hit me again with a small cushion.
"Another half an hour" I mumbled.
"No, get up now. You're a lazy bum. Just like John!" Emma laughed taking a seat on my bed.
"You think that's going to make me get off my arse?" I laughed with her.
"Maybe...." She trailed off.
"You haven't packed everything, your toothbrush and hair brush were still in the bathroom. You're lucky Mindy packet it for you while you were sleeping this morning!" Emma hit me again.
"Yeah, I know. I'll thank her" I whispered gently.

I felt the blanket near my feet move, and two cold hands grab hold of my ankles.
"Argh" I pulled my blankets up and held them tightly near my chest.
Emma started pulling me off the bed slowly and I fell onto the floor with a massive thud.
The floors were wooden, so when I fell onto it in the morning, usually everyone knew I was awake and came running.

And I was correct. In came Olivia and Lauren.
"Sarah, wakey wakey" They waved with a grin standing over me.

I slowly pulled myself up off the floor, and made my bed again.
"You know, I'm going to crack a rib one day" I squeeled at Emma.
"Yeah, atleast you'll get up quicker!" Emma sneared and walked away.
"Dude, you get more sleep than anyone, and you still sleep in till like...twelve if we let ya" Lauren picked up my small multi coloured teddy bears and placed them neatly along the wall near my bed.

"Hurry up and get changed, Hannah's in the car. Reving the hell out Ringo's little engine" Liv giggled as she walked out.
"Yeah, Hannah's getting antsy, chop chop" Lauren added following Olivia out.

I walked over to my built-in cupboard, pulled out a black jacket, long jeans, and a shirt similiar to Where's Wallys but black and brown.
Look's good enough... I thought to myself as i galloped down the stairs into the living room / kitchen.
"Wow, she's up! And it's like... nine thirty dude" Emma jeered as she checked her watch.
"VROOM VROOM!" I heard from outside.
"Damn Hannah, she never thinks of how Ringo feels before reving his guts out" Lauren exclaimed, looking out the window.
"She's anxious" Liv nodded picking up her suitcases. And then dropping them at the sight of Nelli walking out of her room with 5 suitcases fully packed.
"Dude, it's a weekend trip..." Lauren stared at her with her mouth gaping open.
"Yeah, so? I like to take what ever I can." Nelli held her nose into the air, and put down her suitcases near the door.
"Ringo's gonna kill you" Emma squinted.
"Ringo loves me, he knows that i know that he can handle the weight, he's a big boy now guys" She winked.
Lauren frowned.
"He loves us all equally, you just hog him so he likes you more" She giggled.
"Yeah, although he doesn't like Hannah as much" I joined in.
"Speaking of Hannah, time to go" Emma winked. And picked up her suitcase with us following her like little lemmings.

Out the door they went like toy soilders in a line.
Hannah hung herself out the window and waved.
"Guys, I think Ring's is ready to go" She smiled.
"Yeah, we heard" Lauren winked.

"Alright, suitcases in the back" I said throwing my small suitcase in Ringo's boot.
I pulled my book out of my pocket and kissed it, imitating John in Help!.
"What are you reading?" Hannah eyed over my book.
"Oh it's just a little..." She cut me off seeing it's cover.
"You're reading the secret garden?" She raised a brow.
"Eh.. I've read all my other ones recently..." I shot back quickly.
"Yeah.. What ever" She grinned turning around and putting her hands on the steering wheel.
"I brought spairs!" I giggled as I pulled "Nowhere Man" out of my other pocket.
"That's more like it" She gringed after glancing over to me again.
"No no no, you got it yesterday" I heard whinging outside my window.
Liv and Lauren were fighting over front seat again.
I never saw why, we did have a huge van. That's why we called it Ringo. Active compensatory factor.

"Ah, you idiots. Just get in" I held my hand to my forehead.
Lauren managed to slide open the door and jump in and without a second glance she closed the door and locked it.
"Argh" Liv semi growled and hopped in the back.
"You two just didn't want to sit next to me" Mindy pretended to burst into tears.
"Yeah I know, you need to start bathing and stop using all that deoderant. Bad habit that is" Lauren winked at Mindy.
"Ah shut up. I bathe everyday! I bathe so much my skin wrinkles, and you guys complain about the water bill." She replied to her defense.

"And off.... we.... go" Hannah yelled over the bickering and started the engine.
"Steady now.. steady" I patted the side of the door.
"Come ed Ringo" Lauren jumped in her seat.

"Where we off to first then?" I asked Hannah, who was trying to reverse out of our driveway.

"Shining times station ofcourse, we've got to get Lucy, Patty, Rachel, Abbey and Laetitia" She said, pulling away from the house and tearing down the street.

I checked again to see if she was only in second gear.

Shining Times Station was what we called the other house, ours was "Mendips" although it was nothing like Mendips.

The other house was about twenty minutes away, where the rest of the crew lived. When we all decided it was time to leave our perants and venture out into the world by ourselves we thought it best to move in with each other, and because a house with so many bedrooms is very hard to come across, we decided to move into two and have it no so expensive.

With Emma Lauren and Mindy still fighting playfully in Ringo, it seemed as though it took us two seconds to reach Shining Times Station.

We arrived to find Pattie and Laetitia at the door, waving, with suitcases in their hands.

We all hopped out of the van and walked over to them.
"Morning!" Pattie greeted us, with a warm smile.
"I see you're all ready to go" Hannah nodded to the suitcases swinging Ringo's keys in her hand.

"Yeah, just waiting for Rach and Abbey." Laetitia explained.
"Eh.. where's Luce?" Hannah questioned, worriedly.
"Well, when Abbey cleans her nails, she leaves the cotton on the bench in the bathroom, and Lucy get's all Grr (Pattie made a Lion face with the claws to match) and she has to clean it like... six times" She sighed.

"Meh" Hannah walked into Shining Times Station, then into the bathroom, picked up Lucy, threw her over her shoulder, and carried her outside to Ringo. Put her in the back, shut the door and locked it.

"Well done" I nodded to Hannah, who was whiping her hands and began to swing the keys again.

Rachel came out the door with her suitcases packed, complete with a canvas, and her dancing shoes.

"Rach! In car" Hannah winked, and Rachel immediately headed over to the car.
"And make sure you don't let the cleaning cavewoman out of the back" Hannah laughed looking over to Lucy who was bouncing around in the back like a baboon with a sponge and some ajax.

"In the car!" I yelled waving my hands in the air.
and back in the car we got.

"I'm hungry man...." Lauren winged next to me.
"You ate before we left" I slow turned to face her.
"Yeah but that was like... half an hour ago.." She smiled.
"Wait till we get there" Hannah told.
"Alright alright" She pouted, pulling out a packet of tiny teddys from her pocket.
I shook my head and turned back to my book.
"John rang Yoko and congratulated her on her success with the cow." I read.
"Damn, why can't I read something else. I've read this a thousand times" I threw the book at the seat, just missing Mindy's head.
She turned and gasped at me.
"I want to read something interesting" I added.
"Always the teacher's pet" Lauren giggled.
"Crawler!" Liv pointed.
"Temper temper" Mindy yelled.
"WELL!" I yelled over her.

We all collapsed into laughter.
"When's the plane leaving?" I asked curiously.
"About an hour" Pattie answered.
"No ones got any illegal drugs, animals or plants?" I asked looking around, and when I got no reply I turned back to Emma and continued playing red hands.

"Ouch!" She smiled.
"Okay, let's do something else" I put my finger to my lip thinking.
"Alright, Emma your John, I'll be Paul, Mind you can be George and Liv you're Ringo." I told them all who looked over at me.

"Let's try and pretend to be the Beatles in... the early days to begin with"

"George! Untie that tie!" Emma screamed at Mindy.
"We don't need these fuckin' suits!" Emma laughed.
"I'll be Julian" Hannah butted in.
Although we all presumed she was already.
"Come on now John, we've got a show to do in twenty minutes, put your boots on" I told Emma.
"Let's get us some girls!!" Emma yelled enthusiastically making the John ape face.
"Okay okay, we're coming to 67-69" I waved, and wobbled in my seat.

"Shut up Paul" Mindy poked me.
"Fuck you Paul" Emma laughed histerically.
"Dad, be nice." Hannah snapped, and started humming 'Hey Jude'.

cute story! i know this is random but I was reading the list of charecters and I saw "The Great Gatsbuy". Well I just found that in my huge book shelf and was wondering if it was good. And if you didn't know this is a great story!!!

"The Great Gatsby" is a book about American polotics and history. It's alright, it just depends how interested in it you are.
