Most Beatle fans, fully conversant with the groups history, are avid for little-known facts in the saga of the Fab Four. Here is the first selectin of f10 items of Beatles' trivia. There are 100, but give me time you know Im typing this by hand? Let me know if you want the rest or not.
1. The Beatles created another record in 1964 when they became the only act to replace themselves at No. 1 in the charts on two occasions. I Want To Hold Your Hand was knocked from the top position in the USA by She Loves You which, in turn was replaced at No. 1 by Cant Buy Me Love
2. During their career The Beatles only worked with four record producers: Bert Kaempfert, Mike Smith, George Martin, and Phil Spector.
3. Paul declined an offer from the National Theatre in 1967 to compose music for their interpretation of Shakespeare's As You Like It.
4. Elton John is Sean Lennon's godfather.
5. Astrid Kirchnerr, original girlfriend of Klaus Voorman, who became engaged to Stuart Sutcliffe, eventually married Gibson Kemp, the drummer who replaced Ringo in Rory Storm & the hurricanes.
6. Frank Sinatra called George Harrisons Something 'The greatest love song of the past 50 years'.
7. The Beatles originally intended calling their seventh British album Abracadabra, but the name had already been used by another band so they settled on Revolver.
