I made this thread for anyone who has some cool collectables that are beatles related, or places they've been. I just think it would be cool to talk about, or possibly even see some memorabilia. I have a few interesting things... - I have Abbey Road, Red Album, Blue Album on vinyl. - I have sheet music from 1963-1965. - A fan club book from 1965 - I also have a LOOK magazine with John and Yoko on the cover the date for that is March 18th 1969. 50 cents. lol. - For my birthday i got this collectors edition snowglobe, and the base is the Yellow Submarine, and in the globe has their cartoons, along with Jeremy, Old Fed, and Chief Blue Meanie. It's very cool. (sorry for not being able to have pictures of them, they are very awesome. the magazine is some-what water logged, but it doesn't bother me.) This is just something I did for school, a little different then the original, but it was fun to participate in. I actually have the whole doller bill, but this was really the only unique part about it, it's obviously counter-fit, but a cool collectable. I don't know if any of you have ever been, but it is truly beautiful. I put the pink rose there, it was just a beautiful peaceful place. It is the Utopia of NYC. "The Garden of Peace" It was beautiful. This was in Virginia, there were huge paintings on the outside of the building from each 'beatle era.' This is obviously, Sgt. Pepper. This was right beside the Sgt. Pepper painting. That is me and my brother walking. (I didn't have any pictures of it w/o me...sorry) This is the 'early years' Sorry about the car. The name of the resturant was Abbey Road: Pub & Resturant. Inside there were so many awesome things. There was an advertisement for the Beatles, and their venue was the cabin. I thought that was so awesome. This, believe it or not, is one of my walls in my room. It is extremely awesome to wake up to every morning, and to escape to when I'm feeling down. Sorry for the long post. I hope it was interesting to you all.

Oddly enough, I was just going to start a topic about this! We have all the Beatles albums on vinyl because my parents are huge Beatles fans and saved them all. So actually, we have two copies of each. Oh, except I think my dad took his to his house. Either way, there are tons floating around here. We have a number of magazines concerning the Beatles, a Life magazine with Paul and Linda on the cover and one with the Beatles on the cover. We also have the issue of Playboy with the John and Yoko interview in it. Besides the magazines, we have all the Yellow Submarine action figures that came out around the time the DVD came out. I have two Yellow Submarine posters, and my mom has an original poster for Help! I guess that's about it for my memorabilia. Does anyone else think "memorabilia" is an odd looking word?

"The Garden of Peace" It was beautiful. Forgot to say in my last post, I've been there too, and it is a beautiful place. So very peaceful. I loved it, and I think if I lived in NYC I would be required to visit it on a regular basis. Honestly, it was... it was as close to a spiritual experience as I've ever had. And at the time, a man was sitting on a bench playing Beatles songs. It was really perfect. I don't think I've ever been anywhere else that felt like that.

"The Garden of Peace" It was beautiful. I just have to say, this is a gorgeous picture. I so want to go and visit the Imagine memorial sometime soon. Everyone I've talked to has been seemed to really, really enjoy it. To answer the question... I actually don't have a ton of memorabilia outside the basic CDs, DVDs, and books. And 4 posters. I don't have room for all of them on my wall, it's sad. I had to retire one of them. I do collect newspaper clippings that mention them but I don't have any really old clippings. No records either... *sigh* I do have some T-shirts, a couple magazines that featured the Beatles and some magnets and a few pins. Not really impressive... I must find some vintage stuff.

I have two tee-shirts...one with a picture from 1964. On the back it has the American tour dates! My other shirt has the pictures from the White Album on it. As far as other stuff I have various posters and a couple of vinyl albums. I also drew pictures from Yellow Submarine on my wall. Sorry I don't have a picture.

You DO have a picture. It's here. I helped color that wall. ;D I'm pretty sure I did a lot of Ringo and most of John. Or maybe it was Paul. those Sharpie fumes go straight to your head, don't they?

Awesome Yellow Submarine picture! It looks fantastic. That bit about the Sharpie marker fumes made me laugh since I love the way those things smell entirely too much, way more than is normal I think.

O.k., wow...I don't know if I can put in everything I have of the Beatles...but I'll try. ~Sgt. Pepper, Rubber Soul, MMT, Meet the Beatles, Beatles VI and A Hard Day's Night on vinyl. ~A 45 of Elanor Rigby ~10 t-shirts ~A cappuccino cup and saucer my dad got for me off fo eBay ~Numerous books and magazines, including a republished copy of "In His Own Write" ~This beagle that's dressed up in a Sgt. Pepper outfit and when you press its foot it sings and dances to Yellow Submarine. ~Toooo many pictures and posters (I have two bedrooms...one in my house for college, and the other at my Dad's). ~A Beatles light that when the top gets warm, it spins around and shows each of the guys' faces. ~All their albums on CD ~The beanie baby walrus that was named Paul ~Every movie except Let It Be and a few documentary DVDs on the group and solo things ~My most prized possession: an origional 1964 pillow of the Beatles. it used to be my mom's, but she never took care of it...so I got it. It looks brand new except for the discoloring due to age. I have a lot more, but I didn't want to list all of it *chuckles*
