 you guys all rock. Its always sad when someone has to leave. Especially someone uber-cool like Crow. I know, I joined only after Crow left but I still feel like I know her for two reasons: 1) I've visited most of all of the old threads and she's one of the few people whose personality shines from her posts. no barriers. no bullshit. just what she thinks - there in writing. and from that you get an amazing insight into her life. 2) the board is what it is because of crow and others. From looking at the board, you learn about the people who’ve helped shape it. The board = cool. The people who made it = supercool. When I was a newb here, you guys mad me feel welcome. I’m still a newb here and I still feel welcome XD. To repeat what everyone else has already said, XP, I do have a certain respect for you guys. crow, icee, zap, emma, jan, liv, patti, nelli, gawd I can go on forever. its difficult to maintain a friendship over the net. its only possible if the people are so vibrant that the small amount of their soul that trickles over the telephone lines is enough to engage you. That’s how I know that you guys possess huge amounts of personality XD It is a pity that you left before I joined, Crow. But I respect and understand you reasons. It is time-consuming, but there’s a well-loved principle I live by: Time that you enjoyed wasting was not wasted at all. Hearts and hugs. |

Rusty, your speech = beautiful. You would give Shakespeare a run for his money. (^ i dont even know what that means^) I am not a MONASH UNI *cough-Claire-cough* student so I won't attempt a speech. Nor do i know as many big words as Rust does.  I didnt join too long ago. So i still like...dont know much..  I didnt know Crow too well, and i suppose i dont have much of a say. But The moment I clicked,"login" I was fascinated. By the outgoing-ness of LIB. How many Forums have Mind in the Gutter Clubs?? Or "People who cant type are cool" I was fascinated By Crows name. CrowdishI mean how often do you find CrowDish's? or Icee's? or anyone else with remotely peculiar names. (Ok, the latter you might find more often) and her little Julian/ Don't be a hater avatar.
