Hahah, did any of you see this movie?
Bee Gees and Peter Frampton making a movie out of all...Beatle songs. LOL I'm still giggling over it.
At the end where Billy Preston was like 'Get Back' and his outfit. It's like the Beatles clashed with the 70s and it shouldn't have happened. But it's so sad, you have to laugh.
Just want to know what you all though. =)

It's really..... bad. Sorry but it is. Now, I love the Bee Gees. I've even had the pleasure of meeting them. Been a fan for quite awhile. Peter Frampton you can keep though. I'm a child of the 70s and I was Frampton-ed out by the album "Frampton Comes Alive" which seemed to be THE LP to own then. But as far as Sgt Pepper the movie, the whole story line rather stunk. The only redeeming grace was a couple of the musical pieces. Aerosmith's "Come Together" kicked complete ass. Alice Cooper's joining the Bee Gees on "Because" was pretty okay, though why pick one of the Beatles' more sedate numbers for Cooper... really didn't suit his style. Steve Martin always amuses and I loved his "Maxwell's Silver Hammer". As well Sandy Farina had a very nice delivery of "Here Comes The Sun". The Bee Gees' best numbers here IMO were "She's Leaving Home" and "Polythene Pam". But sorry, Robin. Love ya, but you are no Paul McCartney during "Oh! Darling" though it was... a... passable attempt. And yes, Billy Preston on "Get Back" cooked completely!! ;D All in all, if you're a Bee Gee fan, it's fun to watch, though painful in parts. If you're a Beatle fan? Um... you may wanna skip watching the movie and listen to select bits from the soundtrack CD instead.

lolol. Yes it did stink, indeed.
Aerosmith was my favorite part. And Steve Martin made me laugh too.
And no, Robin could not sing anywhere near Paul's sexy voice in Oh! Darling.
I liked when Peter sang 'With A Little Help From My Friends" It was pretty good, I thought. Sounded a lot different, because well, no one on earth sounds anything like Ringo.

Yes, "With A Little Help From My Friends" was for sure Peter's best number in there. ;D

When I was just a youngin' Beatles fan (11 or so, lol) my dad bought this movie from the video store because it wasn't like anyone was renting it But, I loved some of it. I realized back then that it was supposed to be a corny, stupid cult movie, but Maxwell's Silver Hammer by my FAVORITE always-had-silver-hair actor, Steve Martin is still one of my favorite scenes in any movie. I don't really like Aerosmith in the movie, but Billy Preston (whom I love to bits, 'My Sweet Lord' on CFG *melts*) at the end is awesome! Me and my dad still watch it sometimes for the music and for a laugh. (Am I the only one here to liked Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds on the movie?)

I haven't seen that. That's cute.
I think it's funn when Tim Burton (was that his name? I can't believe I forgot..) sang "Fixing A Hole." It made me laugh so hard!
Billy Preston at the end is just hilarious. He did a good job on the song, but the way he was like flailing in the air, like one of his strings weren't in sync with the others. It's funny.
