Was there a part in forest gump?...i havent seen that in yonks. Yes. Forrest appears on a talk show with John as a guest. "Forrest, meet Mr. John Lennon." "Imagine there's no heaven... and no religion too?" et al... I prob don't have it exactly right but it is very sad. Especially when Tom Hanks goes, "Then that nice man from England got shot when he was going to play with his son" or something... they mention Sean, I forget exactly how. How did they do that by the way? He was already dead by that point, obviously...

They probably used that guy who looks just like him. there's one, and he posed for a sculpture of john.
-shrug-
but yes, I agree. that part is sad. how forrest gump like.."inspired" john to write imagine..with the whole, they have no religion? and no possessions too?
I think there's a link for it somewheres on the let it beatle website.

No, it IS real footage of him. They just somehow make it so that it looks like Tom Hanks is sitting next to him, though he isn't.
The exact line is: " Some years later, that nice young man from England was on his way home to see his little boy and was signing some autographs. For no particular reason at all, somebody shot him."
I.... can't make it through that line in the movie, I really can't.

Besides, I knew it was real footage, but it was so sweet.

I own all five of them, but Help would have to be my favorite.
For me it's:

The films in order of preference. Let it Be is last since I have never seen it.

I remember after seeing Forest Gump and then seeing the actual show that the footage was taken from, it just looked odd to see Yoko really sitting where Forest was. *shrugs*

A Hard Day's Night definitely! XD
I can quote it. Seriously. That's actually one of my favorite movies ever.

Hey, guess what. Yesterday was a big day for me. I watched ALL of MMT all the way through without stopping or fast forwarding at ANY point. I've only done that once before, which is the first time I ever watched it. I almost always, always, always fast forward through Aunt Jessie's dream, and frequently the Victor Spinetti part. But yesterday, I watched it all, and was proud. XD
