I know we all have tons and tons of favorites, so why not mention our least favorites too? This topic is a bit easier for me, since there are a lot less on this side of the spectrum. I'd have to say, it's probably Here, There, and Everywhere. I don't know why, but I've always found it annoying. I don't know, it just seems... sappy to me. It's definitely one that I usually skip. I also find that I can only listen to I Want To Hold Your Hand once in a very great while without getting tired of it. There are probably a few others, but that's all I have off the top of my head. Anyone else?

You made very strange choices! I'm surprised because Here, There And Everywhere is one of my favorite songs ever.. Anyway, my least favorites are Revolution 9, Helter Skelter and Getting Better...

Wow! I'm surprised! This is an interesting thread. I love Here There and Everywhere. Might be because I went through a sappy music phase a couple years ago, and I heard that song for the first time during that phase. I also love Revolution 9.
Okay, so my least favourites. I always immedietly think of I Want You (She's So Heavy). If that song was a minute long, it'd be fine. If it were a couple, or even a few minutes long, I could deal. But it's seven bloody minutes long. Even though it's a great song, Yellow Submarine is getting VERY old, probably because it was one of the first Beatles songs I knew, and I've been listening to it since I was about five, and it's the only song most of my friends know and they will sing it whenever I mention the Beatles. Which is a lot. Actually, I'm taking a long rest from most of the Yellow Submarine movie soundtrack album because I used to overplay it enough that I was driving myself crazy. Good songs that I don't want to ruin, you understand.
Then there a couple others that bother me for one reason or another. I used to HATE Paperback Writer, because, as a serious writer, I was offended by the lyrics that took writing a book so casually. I like it now, though. And I've always liked the song Help, but I can't watch them do it live because it upsets me. John wrote that song because he wasn't doing great emotionally, and it was a cry for help, and then they perform it, and he sings the lyrics that were apparently very meaningful to him, and it's upbeat and they all smile and bounce around. I dunno, I just find it disturbing. I like it on the album, though. I write too much for simple questions.

I don't hate any songs but I can't listen to Mr. Moonlight or Ob-la-di Ob-la-da to often. About 99% of the time I skip Back In The U.S.S.R. I don't know why but I can't usually take it.
I love Helter Skelter and Paperback Writer!

Yeah, I normally skip Back In The U.S.S.R. too, for some reason. I just get kind of bored with it.

I really like that one! The little Beach Boy thing in the background makes me laugh every time. But I guess if you've picked the White album, you're not really in the mood for that song

I think that's exactly it. I'm always too concerned about the next song, Dear Prudence, which I love. I get impatient, mostly.

I've never really liked "Hello Goodbye" much.

I could see that with Hello Goodbye.

*chuckles* Wow....I've been gone for a day and so much as happened. So yeah, song I dislike the most has GOT to be "Yellow Submarine". I've heard it SOOO many times that I have to skip it. But, I played "the Red Album" for my 7-year-old niece yesterday, and she absolutely LOVED "Yellow Submarine" so I had to put up with it.

I agree about Yellow Submarine. It's fun for a while, but then it's like... okay, no more.
Not to mention, whenever I ask someone if they like The Beatles and they don't, they say, "No, but I like that one song.. Yellow Submarine."
That really annoys me. Because.. seriously, that song does not even BEGIN to represent their awesomeness.

I agree. I really hate it when people tell me the Beatles are no good and thats the only song they know. Although even if it was the only song they knew I still think they are completely wrong!

This is an interesting thread! I can't say I 'dislike' any Beatle song, I just can't bring myself to say it. I know it sounds stupid. But the one I least listen to is Wild Honey Pie. It's quite meaningless, and a song I tend to skip. It was only on the CD because Patti liked it, so they said "What the hell" and put it on there.
But Paperback Writer was what started my whole liking for them. I am a writer and the words were more of an inspiration to me, that it can happen, y'know, I might finish a novel one day. I used to always skip I Want You(She's So Heavy) but then I realized I was just being impatient and didn't want to listen, I just wanted to hear "Here Comes the Sun" but one day I listened to it, and it was very beautiful when I allowed myself to be 'un-annoyed' I guess you can say.

I like Hello, Goodbye. Always have. But I'll often skip it on the CD, because I always thought of it as an 'early' song, or at least in the early style, so when I choose Magical Mystery Tour, I'm not in the mood for it. I think it would be a better song if it were on Rubber Soul or something. I dunno about Rubber Soul *specifically* but you know what I mean.

I love "Hello Goodbye"....always makes me dance.
But I can see what you're saying, Crow.
I always thought "One after 909" didn't fit Let it Be....but I can see where they're going with it on the album, since it was one of the first songs they ever did. Kinda gettin' back to their roots and just having fun with it.
