The Dark Horse Years

Have you all got the George harrison cd and dvd box called the Dark Horse years? I love it. I bought it like a year ago and it was very expensive back then, but hey, look at what you get for the money

It contains 6 cd's:
George Harrison
Thirty Three and 1/3
Somewhere in England
Gone Tropo
Cloud nine
Live in Japan

And a dvd which contains video's like:

This song
When we was fab
This is love

And a lot more and it contains selection from live in Japan and selctions from the movie 'Shanghai Surprise'

I love the dvd. George is so cute and funny on it. And it's also great to see the videos. I haven't seen most of them before.

I was so glad when this box came out, because most George harrison cd's aren't available in my country. I could only get "best of.." and "All things Must Pass", the others I got in Germany and with this box I've got three more. Because I didn't have "George Harrison", "Gone Tropo" and " Thirty three 1/3" and now I have!!!

Do you have the box? And what do you think of it?

I happen to know that Lucy got the DVD for Christmas and loves it, though darned if I know why she hasn't been to the boards lately.

I saw it at Best Buy and I really wanted to buy it, but I bought Anthology instead. Maybe next time. George's solo music is amazing.

If you have the money, you should definately buy it. But if I were you and if I had to choose between the Anthology and the Dark Horse years I would have bought Anthology first too.

But really, buy the Dark Horse years. George is such a cutie in the video's.

I have money now from Christmas! Maybe I'll buy it tomorrow when I go to the store. Hopefully I have enough. *crosses fingers*

i would have the money for it but i am saving the money for a new bass. hopefully i can get a job and buy the set 'cause this is the one i've been wanting for a long time.

I bought the box set the day it came out, and it was worth every penny. I'd been wanting those albums for so long (especially Cloud 9), so I was really excited when they were finally put out in such a nice box set. The DVDs are fabulous as well.

I've bought it the same day too. I've been looking for Cloud 9 a long time too. I've found it on a mega record and cd fair a year before this box came out, so I already had that album, just like Live in Japan. But that didn't stop me from buying it. it's great.

Nope just sleepy ^_^...but yup I <333333333x a bizmillionthousand love the DVD.

It took me forever to find Cloud 9. I really could have gotten it off of ebay but I thought that was cheating.

cloud 9 is brilliant. i found it really easily though, the best buy by me had one copy left. yay! ^_^
33 and 1/3 was easy to find too.
