I'm not sure if anyone else has ever noticed this, but I personally think this is the cutest thing ever!
It isn't a picture, but it's a Paul 'quirk.' He does it all the time, but this was the most I've ever counted in an interview.
LARRY KANE: Do you ever get concerned about the press and privacy?
PAUL MCCARTNEY (here we go): No, I'll tell you what. The best thing about you lot, y'know, is that on the plane, we can trust you, y'know. And we know that, for instance, if one of us wants to go to sleep, then you won't be coming up flashing camera in our faces, y'know, or something like that. So that's, that's fine, y'know, everybody on the plane, we know now, and we, we can trust 'em to sort of think about y'know, us a bit. Normally, it doesn't work, because people just sort of are out for all they can get, y'know, and if they catch you sleeping, they'll flash a flash right in your face, y'know. But, I mean, that isn't all of the time. Occasionally you can get sick of that, you can imagine, y'know, that can get sickening. It's much better once you get to know people.
Count 'em up, ladies. I got the book Ticket to Ride, and before I heard someone talking about his 'nervous when talking' quirk, but I don't know what they were talking about until I read some of Paul's interviews.
I dunno...I think it's cute.

Y'know, I've noticed that occasionally as well. It's even more obvious in video interviews, y'know?
Actually I do that a lot too, but it's more because I describe things in such a whacked up way that I have to honestly ask the person I'm talking to if they know, and wait until they answer to continue XD It's kind of different that way, though

Yeah I noticed that too. He chews on his fingernails too. Aw, I wonder if he still does that in interviews. He has been extremely famous for a good 40 years now, that would be so funny/adorable.

I have a nervous tick XD It's not saying y'know, it's twisting my fingers. I honestly can't talk when I'm nervous, on the spot, or anxious without twisting my fingers.
I'm so sad XD
