Wow I haven't like visted the John thread in such a long time. >_< Horrible I know.
I just read everything everyone else posted and I know this was so last month or so 5 pages ago but: *deep breath*
I do think Yoko took part in the Beatles break-up because she caused more tension and therefore just more stress to be exploded at one another. I do think they would have broken up anyway, but who knows when? I mean we can make assumptions but it didn't happen that way, it happened this way.
So because of the tension she caused it made everyone, except John uncomfortable. I know there were a million and a half other things going on, like John secretly signing with Captiol behind their back, etc etc. I know all of this. Buuut I'll stick to a Yoko thread.
I do I guess pity her to some extent, but not much. I respect her a lot, for how strong she's been and whatnot. But I just don't think anyone should be pitied really.
And I don't think George hated Paul until the day he died. I don't think they were like this *crosses middle and pointer finger* But I don't think George hated Paul at all.
I'm not too sure about my feelings for Yoko, I mean I don't hate her, but I don't look up to her like I do Linda or anything. But that's because I can't relate, I suppose I don't know really. Tomorrow I'll probably have a whole new opinion on her.
I also don't think she was a very attractive woman. *hides*
I defend her when people say that she broke them up, but I also don't say she had nothing to do with it. I don't think she was actually trying to do anything wrong, although she knew she was causing tension and she knew that they didn't like her.
Like Hannah said John had her with him probably to benefit for himself, but I think that's kind of selfish of John because Paul loved Linda, George loved Pattie, etc etc. They were just as miserable within the group and didn't have them their.
I don't know. I like Yoko she's a cute little lady, but I just have mixed feelings about her, particularly today.
