Yay! I just saw that they're coming out with a remastered version of John's "Rock And Roll" album with 4 bonus tracks on September 27. It's such a fun album... I love Stand By Me, You Can't Catch Me, and Slippin' And Slidin' the best. abbeyrd.best.vwh.net/news/reissue.html |

Ohh I absolutely love Stand By Me. Especially the intro, it's so different then Ben E. King's, which is also beautiful, just in a completely different way, y'know?

I dont have it either, but Ive heard it a couple of times. I absolutely love it! I cant wait to get the remastered version! Does anyone know what bonus tracks are on it?

The press release lists the following bonus tracks: 14. Angel Baby 15. To Know Her is to Love Her 16. Since My Baby Left Me 17. Just Because (Reprise) I'm interested to hear "To Know Her is to Love Her" especially just to see how different it'll be from the version that's on the Live at the BBC album. The site also says that the Just Because reprise has an "alternative ending and a very special Christmas message to Paul, George, and Ringo." Haha, I dunno what to make of that... either it'll be one of those "aww, how sweet" moments or sarcastic and dead funny. Another reason why I can't wait for this to come out. The release also says it's not coming until November 2nd now.  |
