I thought the barenaked ladies and the arrogant worms were pretty wierd. I've always thought it was funny that the Barenaked Ladies are actually fully clothed men hehe |

I'd hate to be named Hannah then. heh, no offence. Oh you mean like me? XDXDXD I met them actually, and told them my name was Hannah and I thought it was funny. They were really cool especially Greg the bassist. They thought it was funny that I was so amused by their name. |

Just some band names that I think are funny / silly / stupid... Toad The Wet Sprocket <--- This one always makes me laugh. I like some of their stuff though. The Circle Jerks <---yes, I KNOW what it means, it's just a really dumb name for a BAND. Chumbawamba <--- uh yeah, right. Strawberry Alarm Clock <-- 'Incense and Peppermints' is a way grooveh song though!  And also a 60s psychedelia band... The Electric Prunes. Utah Saints <--- a. NOT from Utah, b. NOT saints, or even Mormon (Latter Day Saints)! Zwan <--- Billy Corgan's band after disbanding another one that had a weird name... Smashing Pumpkins. Cool music though. I loved the Pumpkins! Jimmy Eat World <--- wouldn't Jimmy get awfully fat eating the entire world though? Hoobastank <--- Like some of their stuff, but what a name! Squirrel Nut Zippers <--- That sounds painful! Poor little squirrel!! Bikini Kill <-- okay is the bikini so ugly you have to kill it? Foo Fighters <--- I dig Dave Grohl, but what is up with this name? Good music though. 30 Odd Foot of Grunts <--- Russel Crowe's band. What exactly does this MEAN anyway? Limp Bizkit <--- won't even go there.  I find it funny that Barenaked Ladies is actually a group of fully dressed MEN.  Right. And oh! The Flying Burrito Brothers! I concur with Hootie and the Blowfish, mentioned earlier, by the way. I happen to think they are an AWESOME band live, though. They were named after nicknames front man Darius Rucker gave a couple friends in college I do believe, though. |
