“Talking about lovebirds.” George said walking into the kitchen with in his pyjamas.
Paul and Jan asked the others to come to the kitchen as well for breakfast.
They were all extremely quiet at the table. They all knew the girls had to go home again and they knew it was miles away. So they wouldn’t see each other that soon anymore.
“So…you’re coming over the next holiday?” George said to Liv trying to break the silence.
Liv nodded and Lauren looked at John trying to see if he wanted to ask her something like that too. But John was putting his croissant in his mouth and drinking his coffee while reading the Sunday paper.
Lauren didn’t know what to do with it and she suddenly felt kind of dirty. She didn’t want to be one of the many girls who slept with John. Maybe there wasn’t a possibility to be in an actual relationship with John. But…she wanted more of him. He made her feel like no one has eve made her feel. Not even her ex boyfriend who she was with for 3 long years.
Then suddenly she felt tears coming up.
“Excuse me.” She said as she walked away from the kitchen.
The others all looked at each other and Sarah, Liv and Jan stood up and ran after their friend.
In John and ringo’s bedroom they found her lying on the bed sobbing.
Jan put an arm around her.
“What’s wrong Lauren?” she asked.
“Did John do something to you?” Olivia asked kneeling down next to the bed.
Lauren was mumbling something but they couldn’t hear it.
“Wait…there was something you wanted to talk to me about. Does this has something to do with it?” Sarah asked.
Lauren nodded.
“Well,” she said still sobbing. “I don’t know. I think I’m in love with John.”
Sarah and Jan looked at each other.
“You’re in love with John?” Jan asked.
“I think so.” Lauren replied.
Lauren explained to her friends how her feelings for John would be in the way if he didn’t answer those feelings. She couldn’t see through him and didn’t know how he felt about her. Also that she was afraid to be just a one-night stand.
“Damn Lauren! I warned you about that guy yesterday!!” Sarah said turning away from her. “You knew something like this could happen. He’s such a player!”
Lauren started crying again.
“Oh don’t be such a baby!” Sarah said. “You made him go so far. Now you deal with it. I think I’m not only speaking for myself if I say we’ll be here for you. But geesh girl. Be careful.”
Jan and Liv nodded. Jan patted Lauren on the shoulder.
“Why don’t you just ask what he wants?” Jan said.
Lauren took a deep breath. “I think I’ll do that.”

“Okay Sar. Let’s go and get John.” Olivia said and got up. “Besides, if you don’t mind I’d love to go back to George.” It was feeling weird, because Olivia at least knew George really liked her too. Sarah and Liv walked out.
Lauren grabbed Jan’s arms when she was trying to walk away too.
“Jan! Will you please stay with me?” Lauren asked.
Jan agreed, because she knew how hard it must be for Lauren. What if she was rejected?
John came walking in the bedroom now.
“ ’Ello Ladies. I was needed here?” he said with a big smile on his face. John obviously liked to have power. He sat down between Jan and Lauren who was now shaking a little bit and Jan saw it.
“Err, John. Lauren…well she wants to ask you something.” Jan said.
“Oooh,” he turned his face to Lauren. “You’re probably gonna ask me if I’m in fro a threesome with the two of you eh?” he smiled.
“No you jerk!” Jan said giving him a big push so he fell backwards. “Just listen to her goddamnit.” Jan was now angry. How could he say something like that?
He looked like he had fun with Jan being angry with him. He did turn to Lauren now.
“Okay. Well John, I’m just curious. George and liv are going to see each other after this. What’s there for us…you know…in the future?” she asked him.
He just looked at her for a couple of seconds and then he started laughing out loud.
“Us?” he kissed Lauren quickly. “The sex was great hon, but there’s no us.”
Lauren started crying again and Jan took her hand and took her out of the room.
“Hey girls, don’t walk away. I mean… I need some loving again..” he said.
“Go fuck yourself John!!” Jan yelled.
Jan and Lauren came back to the kitchen. Lauren still had tears in her eyes and Paul jumped up.
“What the hell happened there?” he said. “Did John hurt anyone of you?”
Jan shook her head.
“Well you could warn us for John being such a prick.” She said taking a bite of her slice of bread, which was still on the table.
Paul didn’t know what to say. Ringo shook his head.
“Well I don’t know…’e’s just John.” George said drinking his milk.
Then John suddenly stood there in the door opening.
“Lauren…can we talk.” He asked seriously.
