She had a busy day at work. She had to make a lot of phone calls and some preparations to make for some meetings later that week. At 3 pm she got up to go and get herself some tea. In the corner of her eyes she saw an enormous limousine standing outside in front of the building. She turned around, put her face on the window and slacked a sound. She saw Mal walking out of the building and stepping inside the car again. Peggy turned around and tried to get downstairs as fast as she could. She ran down the stairs avoiding all her colleagues who were walking on it also. When she arrived downstairs she immediately opened the door and ran outside. But there she saw the car was already gone. “Oh darn!” Peggy said stamping with one foot on the ground. She looked up to see some of her colleagues looking out of the windows to see what she was doing. She ignored them and slowly walked back in again.
Peggy walked to the receptionist and asked her what Mal was doing here. “Oh he asked me where you lived. He told me you had an appointment with him tonight and he needed your address.” The girl behind the desk said. Peggy slapped herself on the forehead. “And you’re just giving my address to some stranger?” Peggy asked with hate in her eyes. “Stranger? That is Mal Evans.” The girl giggled. “He’s the Beatles bodyguard.” Peggy rolled her eyes. “So he also told you he knows the Beatles. He told me the same but I was not so foolish to buy it.” Peggy gave the girl one angry look and then walked upstairs again. The thoughts in her mind were driving her crazy. Who was this guy and why is he after her?

She tried to focus on her work again, but then she realized she couldn’t let that Mal Evans guy go. She was thinking about him and what he wanted the whole time, so she decided to just go home. She grabbed her jacket, said goodbye to her colleagues and went home. On the way home she tried to think about what she would do or say if Mal was really standing in front of her house. But when the taxi stopped in front of her house there was no Mal to be seen. She paid the driver and went inside.
When she climbed the stairs she thought she heard something so she stopped. Yes, she heard people talking. She walked on and stopped in front of her door and put her ear on it. She couldn’t hear what they were saying, but there were most definitely guys in her room. She doubted what was the best thing to do: to call the police or just go in and confront them. Peggy got the pepper spray out of her bag and grabbed the door. She opened the door screaming and spraying the pepperspray around. She heard some guys yelling, but she didn’t stop spraying. “AAAH Stop it damn it!” a guy yelled. “Peggyyyyyy!!!” When she heard her name she stopped spraying and tried to see who it was. She just stood there waiting for the spray to clear. She heard some coughing here and there. “Yeesh, woman.” Another guy said. When she looked to see who it was she saw Mal. “You again?” she yelled. “You’re broke into my house!” Mal just smiled and pointed to his left. Peggy raised one eyebrow and looked aside. “The…oh…no..that can’t be.” Peggy said and she sighed. She was looking at the Beatles. It was kind of crazy seeing the Beatles in her room, it just didn’t seem to be real. “Oh I’m so sorry.” She said to John who was still wiping tears from his eyes and coughing. “Oh it burns…why’d you do that?” he asked. Peggy couldn’t answer, instead she gave him a wet towel to put on his eyes. “I hope you don’t have a performance tonight.” She said trying to break the ice a little. John didn’t laugh, but Paul and Mal did. “I told you, she’s a hard one to get.” Mal said. Paul, George and Ringo looked at her and nodded.

“Hi my name’s Peggy.” She said shaking the guys hands. “We all know who you are Peggy,” George said smiling. Peggy got a chair for Mal to sit on and asked the guys if they wanted some tea. When she got back with the tea, John wasn’t holding the towel on his eyes no more and now she could see what she had done. “Oh John, I’m so sorry.” She said. “I just thought…” then she turned around to Mal again. “Okay, you were right, you know the Beatles…. I believe you know. But why are you breaking into my house. I can sue you now!” Mal smiled and explained that Peggy her roommate had let him inside. Peggy had mixed feelings about this all. There were guys who had broken into her home and that would make her feel insecure and unsafe, but then again…. those guys were the Beatles and a guy who now seemed to be very nice. She scratched her chin and drank some tea. “What are you doing here then?” Peggy asked. The guys looked at each other. They seemed to find the right person to tell it. Then Ringo coughed and started talking. He told Peggy that when they saw her walking on the street the other night, her beauty stunned them all. Peggy blushed as he was saying that, Ringo smiled a little and told more. “Anyway…what it all comes down to…we err…well we like you and we’d wanted to meet you. That’s why we stopped the car next to you, but then you ran away. We didn’t want to scare you.” Peggy raised one of her eyebrows. George then told her that it was never their intention to “kidnap” her, but mostly girls recognize Mal and Neil and they just come along. Peggy moved a little uncomfortably on her seat. “So…correct me if I’m wrong, but you pick up girls this way more often?” Peggy asked. Paul nodded.
John who walked to kitchen to make his towel wet again told Peggy that they couldn’t just go out and pick up a girl. “You ran away, so we thought…okay it’s her loss. But then you ran into Mal today, so that made us find you again.” John said grinning. Peggy smiled. Of course she felt flattered…the Beatles liked her. “Well…what do you expect from me now then? I can’t go out with the four of you.” She said. “And don’t you have to perform tonight…or something?” “No dear, we don’t. We’ll stay here this next week so we thought it would be cool if you just…well pick one of us.” Paul said as he looked to others who nodded with agreement. Peggy thought about it and asked the guys if she could think about it over night…and that they could call her or come back tomorrow. John and Paul looked at each other. They seemed to be amazed by this answer, this wasn’t what they expected at all. The guys got up and walked out. As they made their way passed Peggy they all seemed to do their best of making her pick them. The last one who left was John. He leaned over to her with his deep red eyes looking into hers…”I’m taking the towel.” He said. “You’re a little spoiled girl. Any other girl would go out with me any time.” He said as he walked down the stairs. Peggy closed the door behind her immediately and rested against it, saying, “Haha. I do know I’m not going to pick you John Lennon!”
