Then Jantina heard people screaming, so she looked up to see her friends running down the hill. They were all there, George and Olivia, Hannah and Ringo, Lauren and Mike, John and Sarah and even little Jules, who seemed to have a great time running down from the hill.
Paul and Jantina got up. They all hugged each other.
“That was about time right?” John said to Paul. Paul laughed and nodded.
“So, you all knew about this?” Jantina said.
They all told her what Sarah had told them. It was Sarah’s idea to buy the house. She knew Jantina loved the silence and green of Scotland and she knew she’d love to marry Paul. Jantina hugged Sarah.
“Thanks girl, it was a great idea.” Jantina said.
“Come on let’s go inside and have a drink.” Paul said. They all climbed up against the hill again and got inside.
That evening they all sat there. Jantina looked around to look at her friends. This felt so good. She loved Paul. She loved them all. And she was going to be Paul's wife. She smiled by the thought of it. She sat down between Paul’s legs and put her head down on his body.
She looked around to see George and Olivia looking outside of the window and George telling Olivia jokes about sheep.
It was good to see George with a girl like Olivia. She was great. A warm and cute girl. She really made George happy.
Then she looked at Ringo, Hannah, Mike and Lauren who were playing cards.
Ringo and Hannah were really made for each other, Jantina thought. They could still see love in their eyes.
Mike and Lauren were a cute couple too. Jantina thought back about the time she really hated Lauren. Lauren didn’t seem to be such a nice girl back then. But when she got to know her better…Lauren was also a sweet girl. She loved Paul, but it just wasn’t meant to be and now she was with his brother. It was good to see they were both in the same family.
Then she looked at the Lennon family. Sarah was her best friend and John was Paul’s best friend. They were playing with Julian. Though they had lost Sean, they carried on and took care of Jules. They really were a happy family again.
Then Jantina looked up to see Paul seemed to watch the others as well. He looked at Jantina and they both smiled.
“I feel so happy right now.” Paul said. “I love you.”
“I love you too.”
Paul and Jantina got married in London three months later. They celebrated it with their friends and family. John was Paul’s best man and Sarah was Jantina’s best (wo)man. Jantina her parents and sister were at the wedding as well, just like Jim McCartney, and George and Joanna Martin.
Paul and Jantina now have two children: Mary and James. Together with their dog Martha they live in their house in Scotland now.
John and Sarah became proud parents of another son: Johnny. They still think about Sean very often, but were glad to give birth to another son. They live in New York now, but they still see the others very often.
Lauren and Mike are engaged at the moment and traveling around the world again.
Ringo and Hannah live Surrey now with their sons Zack and Jason.
George and Olivia got married 6 months after Paul and Jantina’s wedding. They have a son Dhani and they live in a huge house in England now.
Though the Beatles split up after a couple of years, they all remained friends.
