"Oh, yes! The very best!" Lauren said wiping the cheese from the side of her mouth.
"So does the chef get a kiss?"
"Yes, good work." Lauren kissed him and smiled.

They had a quiet dinner because either the others were out or upstairs.
After dinner Paul sat on the couch as Lauren did the dishes. when she finished she sat next to Paul.
"That dinner was great." Lauren said
"You're welcome" Paul said his eyes sparkled.
He leaned over and started kissing her. Lauren put her arms around him. This lead to a 10 minute make up session.
