I had to write a story for English using like this list of props and all that he gave us, and this is what I wrote!
It was a beautiful Summer day. John, George, Paul, and Ringo rode in a horse drawn carriage up the road to a beautiful young girl named Ashley’s house. John sat up front, and the other three sat in the carriage. A
picnic basket rested in the seat next to George. His hand lay on top of it.
The four lads wore
heavy overcoats, boots, and hats, all colored black. They all looked very similar; dark brown mop-top hair, black suits, and beautiful big brown eyes. The four also had lovely English accents.
They reached the end of the road where Ashley’s house was. John jumped down from his seat in the carriage. “You lot wait here,” he said, as he jogged up to the front door.
He was wearing his
eyeglasses. He couldn’t see very well without them, and besides, he knew Ashley liked the way he looked in them. He knocked on the door and began whistling to himself. He was nervous. He quickly took out his
matches and lit a
pipe. He didn’t smoke a pipe too often - cigarettes were more his style - but he decided it was time for a change. He leaned against the door frame and waited.
Ashley opened the door. “’Ello, love!” he exclaimed, with a bright smile. “Ready to go?” He handed her a
carrot, and grabbed her hand. Ashley squealed with delight when she saw the horse and carriage, and fed the horse her carrot. Then she joined John in the front seat of the cart. He cracked the
whip and they were on their way.
“’Ello, beautiful!” said George. Ashley looked at the other three smiling lads. She smiled and waved. Then she noticed the pile of
luggage that was behind them.
“What in the world is all that?” she questioned.
“Why, it’s our luggage!” exclaimed Paul.
“Don’t you know we’re staying with you for the weekend, love?” Asked Ringo, innocently.
Ashley laughed. They rode the rest of the way singing songs and laughing. They finally arrived to their destination - the beach.
Paul grabbed the
picnic basket, John tied the horse to a
tree with a
rope, and Ashley, George, and Ringo ran down the wooden steps into the sand. They ran straight to the ocean and danced around happily.
Paul set up the picnic and the others joined him. They ate lots of
chicken, and John and George made a castle with the
chicken bones. They could be very silly at times.
After they ate, John opened a
bottle of wine. He poured everyone a glass, and they toasted. “To us,” he said, looking around at everyone, smiling. He looked at Ashley and winked. She smiled, and they toasted.
They spent the rest of the afternoon making sandcastles and playing in the ocean. They proved to be quite adept at sandcastle-building - they made beautiful things out of
mounds of sand. George even took a stick and tied his
handkerchief to it, making a flag.
As night began to fall, the friends watched the sun set over the
horizon. The
moon soon began to shine brightly on the ocean. They again sang songs and laughed for what seemed like hours.
Soon it was time to return home, and the five got up and ran to the beach. George, Paul, and Ringo had a race to the carriage, and John handed Ashley a
turnip - he knew how she loved horses - and once again grabbed her hand as they began to skip toward the carriage. When the five reached the coach, they were so out of breath they felt as if they needed a
vaporizer.
Ashley fed the horse the
turnip, and again they piled into the carriage and were on their way home.
“Fun day, eh?“ George inquired.
Paul and Ringo nodded vehemently and Ashley and John laughed and smiled. They all hoped to go on another outing sometime soon. After all - the lads had enough
luggage with them to stay for a year.
They began to sing and rode happily into the
horizon, laughing all the way.
Lol, all the bold stuff is the words I had to use. And it had to be about four adults and one young person. Well he said young boy but I made it into a girl
. My teacher will probably make fun of it because he's an ass, but I thought it was cute, lol
