I was reading the complete Beatles chronicle and they were talking about memrobelia(sp?) and this paticular story popped up. This girl saw John walking down the street with a pin that said "I love Paul" She finally got enough corage and asked John why he was wearing that pin and he said "Because I love Paul!" I thought that was soooo sweet! Aww! I can JUST see that... |

Ahhhh....gotta love teenybopper moments... And can I just say that 1964..the Tribute is THE BEST tribute band I've ever seen?! I saw 'em again tonight for the 7th time and I fall in love all over again every time I see them. And Mark, the guy that plays John, I have this hot sexual attraction to....even when I saw him at the mall out of costume and no wig and he was bald.  |

I've always wondered what the Beatles smelled like. Probably smoke, with a hint of aftershave .... Smokey and minty .... -blink- I have too much time on my hands ... but it's driving me nuts trying to think of what they smelled like. Pot and cologne. Sweat. Maybe a woodsy hint of booze. I feel like I'm tasting wine. Or cheese. If the Beatles were a type of food, which would they be? Ringo, I think would be a banana. No wait. Banana =George. Yeppers. Ringo would be an apple pie. John would maybe be fries with salt and vinegar. Paul would most likely be a bar of white chocolate. Yep.

Well when I build a time machine I will smell each one and tell you then ask them what food they are. I will probraly be put in a mental house, but who cares? I've also wondered that!

Don't know why this popped up but a while ago our school had a thing called the exploratory where you could learn about different thing (beading, golf, etc.). Well... our music teacher knows that we love the Beatles so he did a Beatle exploratoy! The first two times we watched a movie and then the third time we did a trivia (Jenna won fist which was the live at the bbc record and I won second which was a Beatle book) and on the fourth and final time he got his wife, a teacher, the kid I babysits dad (a.k.a. Ringo's sister) and himself and the did a Beatle concert and some of the teachers were rushing in and sionging coz of the very loud amps! It was sooooo awesome!!!

Whenever I see them perform, I kind of squeal and rock back and forth.
I watched AHDN with a friend, and she hummed to the music, and laughed, and I was sitting there, soaking up the Beatle-ness. ;D

This is a story my mom told me: Well she was bringing my brother home from a party and the radio was on. Chris (my 5 year old brother) said to my mom "Is this a Beatle song, because it sounds like it is?" and my mom said, "No its not." "Well is it Paul McCartney? because it sounds like Paul?" Sure enough she pressed the XM radio button and it was Paul! My enitial thought to this was I raised him well!

I love the picture of paul mccartney wearing a pin that says something like 'to hell with the beatles' and he's sarcastically winking and it looks like ringo's trying to threaten him.
it doesn't quite work, the whole ringo-threatening-paul thing, because ringo's such a teddy bear.
