I would never talk to guys until this one day at the D-day museum (on a class feild trip) me and my firends saw a guuy who looked like the lead singer from Jet and aslo like Dhani. We tried taking pictures from the side but nobody could get it. So finnally me and my friend Gabby walked up to him. I said "Can I have your pictur? you look like a member from my favorite band." "Sure but what band is that?" he saked. I forgot so I asked Gabby (very stupidly I might add) "What band Gabby?" "Jet" she said. Well the dude stood back and gave me a thumbs up and I took the picture. Every time I saw him again that day he would look at me and I would blush like crazy! Though I made a fool of myself, i overcame my fear of talking to boys(so far)!
anywho back to the Beatles. I don't know if this would count but in the boof "Of Mice and Men" (or something like that) the two main characters are named George and Lennie. the wierd thing is it was written in 1939! I also saw a Let It Be shirt at target in the boys department and begged my mom to get it for me since I was broke. Though she declined I have come up with a sceeme to go shooping there to get it since I got money. But I never expected to see a Beatle shirt in the boys deparment of taarget. (o and if your wondering why I was looking in the boys department it was because the only dreesing room they have there is right next to it and I was trying on my new jeans when I saw it!)...

I was watching SNL and on the Celebrity Jeopardy skit where they make fun of different celebrities, one of the categories was "An Album Cover" and the question was, "The Beatles' White Album is what color?" Silly

I was walking to my car after class tonight and this guy was just like, hanging outside the sports arena reading a book and was wearing a Yellow Submarine t-shirt I had never seen before..
....didn't talk to him though. Wanted to...but passed because he looked deep in thought.

I know I'm double posting, which is a no no, but......I had to share this. So I'm listening to The Turtles 20 Greatest Hits CD and I was reading the liner notes. Here's a paragraph from it. I guess The Turtles were big on the Beatles and pretty much wanted to be them, but here's something I found to be interesting: "The Turtles played England for the first time, which provided an unusual experience. The band was heavily influenced by the Sgt. Pepper, psychedelic period. Kaylan and Volman, along with Nichol, presented an impressive vocal sound, while Barbata's varied, dymanic drumming invigorated the group. They duplicated their recordings live, and were getting more into the theatrics. Britain's rock elite came to see them - The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, Brian Jones (every night). But there was one casualty - Jim Tucker left the band. It was disorienting for the Turtles, currently with two big hits in the States, to come to England and play dingy little clubs like the Speakeasy and Blazes, where they played standing on tables. Quite frankly, it felt like starting over, and this got to Tucket. In addition, the Beatles were gods to Tucket, and when he saw Lennon and McCartney acided-out, crawling around under tables, taking pictures of candles, it apparently became too much and he was gone."The sad thing is, I could SO totally see John and Paul doing that... ..lol

OK, I was waiting for the bus at the mall and I SWEAR I saw John c. 1968 waiting at the next bus stop a few feet away from me. It was just a guy with long brown/red hair and granny glasses, but oh, man I thought - this is it, I'm going crazy, finally!
;D

You saw the Beatles in the timecapsule? Sweet. Yes. this was a museum about a Battle in 1568. Well we had to get back to that year by a timecapsule (we sat in planechairs, fastend our seatbelt and saw movies flashing by on this huuuge screen) We saw the Iraqi war, Nelson mandela, The first man on the moon and The beatles!!!! They sang Love me do and I was like: whaaaa! and the other people all looked at me haha.

Awwee...that sounds neat, Jan. You did that yesterday? Because in one of my classes yesterday, we saw a video montoge that was set to Billy Joel's "We Didn't Start the Fire" and they showed, the lads, of course....and then during the chorus, they showed the video footage from when John apologized for saying the Beatles were bigger than Jesus...
