I was listening to Music Choice today (its like a music TV station) and they were playing "I See All Good People" by YES (I think) and in the middle of it, in the background you can hear people saying "All we are saying is give peace a chance" and that was pretty exciting.
Yeah, they were also mentioned in Sleepless In Seattle when the little kid is playing some song backwards. And in "Kate And Leopald" (sp?) Kate just saw Leopald all decked out in that New York crap from the 1700s or 1800s and she's all "Who are you? Sgt. Pepper?" and TBS kept using that line a whole bunch of times and so every time that comercial came on I'm all -SQUEE!- and mom mom is all -_-;

At school last year, we studied a topic called, "Entertainment through the 20th century"...there was this one time where a bunch of people had to go up and air guitar or dance to "I want to hold your hand"....good times. -runs away from awkward looks-

Everytime I get a new school book for classes and such, I HAVE to look in the index to see if there's any mention of The Beatles, even if it's math or something. I found them, strangely enough, in my Anthropology text, as an example of a major pop culture phenomenon. More like a mass obsession

XDXD in our music textbook, there was Paul Mccartney, and beatles, and John Lennon... But not the others. In my french exam today, there was a question where you had to conjugate verbs in passé composé, and the second one was about the beatles, and I squee'd inwardly when I saw it. XD

Sitting in a Vietnamese noodlehouse, slurping noodles, and hearing an extremely bad rendition of Come Together. It was bad. I almost choked on my broccoli it was so bad. But it was also really really random. Random rawks XD

Walking through the hallway to an indoor pool at a hotel and hearing the guitar riff of Back In The U.S.S.R.

i saw disney on ice the other day (finding nemo!!!) and octopus's garden was one of the songs in it and last year at disney on ice (it's kinda a tradition in my family to go every year was monsters inc. and one of the songs was help! and right now i'm watching clean sweep on tlc (i love this channel lol, i'm such a dork) and they have a sgt. pepper's picture on their wall. where else have you seen/heard them when you weren't expecting it? I heard them in Kroger. That probably wasn't too weird, but it caught me off-guard. Probably also because, everytime they play the Beatles anywhere, it's always some sort of horrible remake. Have you ever noticed that?
