If someone makes disses me because i like the beatles, i just get on their case for liking rap. (no affence if anyone here likes rap)

Okay. For days and days, my mother (who I doubt can even name all four Beatles, or more than 2 songs), has been getting on my case about me loving them, John in particular. "You're wasting your time on them, that man isn't someone you should be idolizing, why can't you listen to normal music like everyone else your age, don't wear that guy's face on your shirt, he's not worth it, people will think you're weird, blah, blah, blah." I HATE it. She has absolutely no idea what she's talking about! I often wonder whether I was switched at birth--I could NOT have come from her! So finally, I snapped. I yelled that I did not have to be her clone if I didn't want to be, that I like being considered 'weird', and that John Lennon and the rest of the Beatles are one of two most important things in the world to me. Their legacy will last forever, unlike the pseudo-punk, fake pop, and thugged out rap shit that people my age listen to (I don't say 'my friends' because none of my close friends are in high school  ). If she can't see that, then I'm not going to waste my time trying to make her. So, I am now grounded. Because you're apparently "not to disagree with your mother." 04857ojfosjfl;aksuroiewua;rjaklsdjfl;skaduioeuriowautksajdf!!!!!!  aghh!!! that SUCKS!! from your MOTHER!! she should be happy that you're listening to something more meaningful than the rap crap and al that. GOD! that's ridiculous. -hug-  I don't get teased. some people I know try, but I'm just like, shutuppa YOUR FACE!! and they stop. XD but really...people are stupid. like, why would you begrudge someone their taste in music? no wonder we have racism.  ps. you can't spell CRAP without RAP!! ;D |

ugh... yesterday Carolyn (yes, the one who was harassed in my choir class) and I were walking home, and we overheard some seventh graders using "gay" as a derogatory term. I literally was holding her back screaming, "no, Carolyn! Down! They're not worth getting in trouble for!" and she was dragging me down the street, yelling, "I have to talk to them!"
I hate c(rap) like that!

They most definitely do. I had the following conversation with a guy in my drawing class today, while I was drawing the lads.
Him: Who are they?
Me: (while rolling eyes) The Beatles.
Him: Aren't they a little...before your time?
Me: No.
Him: But you're only sixt--
Me: Don't I LOOK forty to you? Now go away.
It worked. XD

today I was on msn with my awesome ringo icon that icee made me, when somebody asks me:
"Who's that in your picture?" I say, "ringo starr and his wife." She goes, "oh yeah, you're the beatle lady! haha. that's awesome."
