helloa girls!...as i found this forum full of girls, it came to my mind to ask this...in my situation, i found my boyfriend in a forum about the beatles, we wrote each other a lot, then we fell in love...he came to my country, but it was hard as you know...you have that feeling saying "oh,if it doesnt work".....but when i saw him at the airport, it was so sweet...we kissed so deeply...and im very in love with him.....it's like a dream what happened to me.....and im glad to share that with you ;D

well, i liked the guy before i knew he liked the beatles but whats so special is we both love Rocky Raccoon it's like my fav. and his fav. hehe it's so awesome and he stands up for me when dorks say i'm a dork because i wear beatles shirts almost everyday

That is such a sweet story Anamacca.
I didn't meet my boyfriend because of the Beatles. I met hem on a Queen fansite. We're both Queen fans. First we started mailing and chatting on msn. After a couple of months we decided to meet. He lived only 35 km away, but it was so exciting. The day we met we both fell in love....with eachother. But I still had a boyfriend so it wasn't possible. But I broke up with that guy after my boyfriend send me a sms with the sentence: " ooh I need your love babe, yes you know it's true, Hope you need my love, babe, just like I need you" I didn't know it was from a Beatles song, but I thought that was so sweet and I couldn't get him and the words out of my mind again. That's almost 3,5 years ago now. We are living together since June this year....and it feels so good. So happy together.
But.....my boyfriend got me crazy about the Beatles. He made me listen to them and since then I'm obsessed. ;D

I broke up with my last boyfriend for one reason and one reason only--the very first time I mentioned the Beatles to him, he said "Who?" After I smacked him a few times and yelled "THE BEATLES!" over and over, he said "Oh yeah, those guys. They suck." Sorry, but I just cannot be with someone who thinks the Beatles suck. It's not in my genetic makeup.  |

I guess you can say I lost mine...? I don't think it was really love though. But he had this thought in his head that all I ever wanted to talk about or listen to was the Beatles, and that's not true. I like other music and such. And he would always feel like he had to compete with them I guess. It got tiring after awhile.
He can't play Here Comes the Sun anything like George. That's for damn sure. lol

But yeah, one day us single gals will meet the Beatles boy of our dreams.... And he doesn't have to be obssessed with the Beatles like I am, he just has to appericiate them. They're hard to find, but there ARE a lot of guys who think that Beatles music is good or are neutral about them.
I think most guys say that they suck because it isn't "cool" enough to say that they like the music.
