I just hed the theory that Serious didn't die cuz all she said was that he fell behind the curtain. But I do agree with who you say is going to die. I seriously think it's going to be Dumbledor so it will show Harry to protect himself. It would be a shame though if he did die. That dude knows SO much!

But he didn't just fall behind the curtain. He fell INTO the veil. And the rest of the Order seemed to know what it was, and that Sirius was NOT coming back from it.
As much as I love him, I'm sure Sirius is gone.
I would, however, love to know more about the veil. So mysterious. Heh. Guess that's why it was in the Department of Mysteries.

Yes, I do think that Sirius is really dead. Jo has said before that she was using his death to show just how random and unfair death can be sometimes, how things don't always end the way you think they should. She will not bring Sirius back, as it would completely ruin the point she was trying to make. As for who'll die in HBP... not sure. Last time, I was sure it'd be Hagrid, or possibly Dumbledore. However, I was way off. So I'm just going to trust Jo to surprise me no matter what, which is what she's best at. Ofcourse Sirius is dead, there's no way she'll bring him back. When Rowling wrote that chapter she cried. That's solid proof, no Sirius is comin' back yall.

I thought of something last night... in every HP book so far, the title object/person is something that we've never encountered before... so my theory is that the half-blood prince is someone we don't know yet.
As for someone dying... I've been hearing that for every book since Goblet... though of course every book since Goblet has had an important character die...
Though we've agreed Sirius is not coming back in body... maybe he could be like Harry's Obi-Wan or something...
Wait. No. Nearly-Headless Nick said he wasn't going to become a ghost... oh well. It was a good theory til I remembered that.

Yeah, a trip to St. Mungo's would be the only way for us to see Lockhart again, I'm pretty sure. Doesn't matter to me, because Lockhart drives me nuts. XD
Awww, speaking of St. Mungo's... Neville and his parents at Christmas.... just thinking about it makes me want to cry. Neville is such a little sweetie. I want to hug him.

I was so sad! I was reading my sister the 4th book and they were discussing Neville and I started crying because I made a connection between that and the first chapter... my sister was asleep already tho.
