On a Harry Potter related note, J. K. Rowling gave birth to her third child, a daughter, on Sunday night. The name hasn't been announced yet.
Congrats to JKR, who I love!

You know who rocks? Luna Lovegood. By far my favorite new character from Order of the Phoenix. ;D I really like her too!!! she's awesome!!! I am a BIG Harry Potter fan as well. My favorite book is Order of the Phoenix. My favorite characters are Hermione, Snape, Malfoy and Tom Riddle aka Voldemort. I already reserved my copy of Half-Blood Prince, who do you think it's going to be the Half-Blood Prince? JK Rowling said that it wasn't Voldermort or Harry. I was reading this HP message board and they were talking about Snape being the Half-Blood Prince, but I think he is a pure blood. They also said that it could be Dumbledore. Maybe that kind of explains why Lucius Malfoy doesn't like him. Because he's a half-blood who knows? we'll find out sooner or later btw here's the covers of the book this is the U.S. version  this is the UK children's version  and this one is the UK adult's version  |

Me and my sisters went to borders yesterday and we saw the sign about the book to like preorder it and when its coming out. I read in a magazine that theyre already working on part 5 of the movie... dunno if youuys already said that.....

Yep, my copy's been preordered at Barnes and Noble for months now. XD
I was so excited the other day when I first saw the picture of the covers... the American one is so great! I love the yellow-greenishness. Very, very cool.
As for who the half-blood prince is... I'm unsure. I'm reluctant to make predictions, because last time I was positive it'd be Hagrid that died in OotP, or possibly Dumbledore.... and it just made it a thousand times worse when it was Sirius instead. Not that I wanted either Hagrid or Dumbledore to die, you know! It's just that, having made my predictions, it came as even more of a (horrible, sad, devastating) shock to me!
My two biggest hopes, however, for HBP are: Ron + Hermione = <33333 FOREVER!!! XD And also, more Ginny, because I loved seeing so much of her in OotP.
I'd also love to know more about that damn veil. Sigh.

I love the way most names are different in my language than in English. Harry = Harry  Ron = Ron Hagrid = Hagird Okay, so they're not different. Hermoine = Hermelien (in Dutch.) Sirius Black = Sirius Zwarts Dumbledore = Perkamentus Draco Malfoy= Draco Malfidus I can go on forever.  |

I was looking at the cover of the adult's version and it says Advanced Potion-making, do you think that means that Harry passed the Potions OWL? maybe he did  |

I think that means that Snape is the Half Blood Prince. After all he does teach potions, and it never says that he is a full blood. Maybe that is another reason that Snape hated James.

Eh, I don't think it means Snape's the half-blood prince. JK Rowling's not fond of going for the obvious.... I'm pretty sure the potions book just means Harry definitely passed his potions OWL. As for why Snape hated James- James was a jerk to him!! Gar. Sorry, ever since the Pensieve scene in book five, I've been more than a little angry with James.  |

Deservedly so. He was AWFUL. But, as Sirius pointed out, he was also fifteen.
Why does it amuse me that Britain has a children's version and an adult version and American kids have to suffer with the adult version? (tho I've never had problems, but my little sister has)
My fave characters are Hermione, Ron, Harry, Dumblydorr, Hagrid, Sirius, Fred and George, Mr. and Mrs. Weasley, McGonagall, Lupin, Lily (for obvious reasons)... can't think of any others at the mo... Ron is my sister's favorite, closely followed by F and G.
Wow, I love how I like all the characters that you're supposed to like.
and did you know that Dumbledore comes from a word for bumblebee?
