ok well ill start..
when i was little i would watch the movie sgt. peppers lonely hearts club band movie over and over and over..
and then funally someone bought me a beatles cd(abbey road).. and it grew from there!!

I think it happened over a Mardi Gras break a while back.
IT was the day before MArdi GRas break began and when I walked into my English class, some 7th grader was playing The Beatles in the computor and I like it. Usually during Mrdi GRas we have some family friends over, John and Monica were their names, but the October before they were both killed at night in a car accident, I was heartbroken at the loss of them. I needed something to do during Mardi Break cuz ya know it wasn't the same so I started looking up the Beatles, cause I'd always known about them but never really cared. THen I burned a CD and it began. I can't blame it on John and Monica's death though, it probably would've happened anyway because my English teacher was all like encouraging me and like talking about the Beatles....sooo it's partially due to my English teacher...
I just said a paragraph of gibberish and nonsense

I have an old english teacher and she has a beatles poster in her room. When i first walked into her room I thought this is the coolest teacher ever.

I have an old english teacher and she has a beatles poster in her room. When i first walked into her room I thought this is the coolest teacher ever. I totally think that my English teacher is the coolest ever because 1. She said to some teachers (who told me) that I was the best writer that she had ever taught. 2. SHe likes the Beatles 3. She understands. 4. SHe's only like 28 so she can relate to us more. She doesn't have a Beatles poster but on her podium she has a Beatles picture that I gave her. |

She is only like 30 or around there what i meant by old was that i do not have her any more except for Teacher Assistant. I am not in here class any more. Also I thought that she was the coolest ever cause she likes John also. But I think that she likes George more.

thanks,Ibrake4whales, I still miss them though. RIP John and Monica...*reflects on all of the memories* THat was October 2004 I believe....my dad broke the news to me, II was on the computor at the time..... I banged my head and cried until my throat hurt so badly that I was hoarse for a few days and until my eyes were dry....

XD Emma, you're lucky my parents never talked about the 60's, or the 70's, or the 80's for that matter and especially not any music from that time......until I got into the Beatles and started talking about them ceaselessly... |

Mine didn't either, Liz. I doubt my mother can even name all four of them, and my father always goes around talking about how Let It Be is John's best song.  BUT I'M OUT OF THEIR HOUSE NOW!!!! Anyway, back on subject. It's this guy I work with at the radio station...he's a huge Beatle fan and plays a medley every Sunday night on-air. I've listened to it all my life (my aunt got me into that), but he was the one that really started my obsession...he has all these rare tapes and stuff. He knows everything about the lads. I mean it. Everything there is to know, he knows. We have this marathon Beatle discussions; it's funny. XD |

My boyfriend made me listen to their music. i really didn't want to. It was not done to like music from the 60's anymore (now it's all hot again). Anyway. He made me listen to it and I loved it from the first song I heared (Eight days a week and some how that song is kind of special to me) After that he showed me a pic of the lads, coz I really had no clue what they looked like. Well the rest is history |
