I was just wondering what people who don't live in America, think about America. Like do yall like America, have yall been there, or what yall think of people from different parts of America.

I think America can be kool esp. New York, even though i've never been to NY and the whole John being shot there, thing. That really sucks. But other than that it's kool. I'd really like to visit other parts of the world.

I personally have no problem with America, except the fact that you's somehow seem superior to everyother country when you're not so specail.

But, over all, I love America. And would love to visit. I also love Canada!

Well, I've been to New York City, New York, New Jersey, Washington State, Oregon, New Hampshire, Maine, Vermont, and Michigan. Where we live we basically border the States so it isn't hard to get over there at all, only like, an hour or so.

If you do a little sight seeing thingy in the 1000 Islands area you have to have your passport sometimes - just in case they check! I find that hilarious.

New York is only nine hours away. I've been there five times (mainly the airports on the way to Europe, but it was Kennedy! When I was there I was like, OMG - the Beatles were here! And I could only imagine - sigh-). I saw the Dakota, Strawberry Fields , the studios where Ed Sullivan had his show, ther Empire State Building, The Statue of Liberty ... even the Twin Towers .... but that was all before 9/11. I also took a picture of Shea Stadium But you know ...

But yes, I do like the general US, the people. I just don't like Shrub - er - Bush. I'm sorry, but he's really dumb.

Anyway, one of these days I'm gonna get my butt down to Australia. Little fuzzy wombats (I love wombats) And come to Canada! We can skate and eat Beavertails and maple syrup and poutine!

We have a Goddamn idiot as the leader of our country. Sooner or later, if this dumb ass isn't overthrown or assassinated, there wont be any more America. We just have to survive until 2008.

Slow down cowboy. Its fine that you dislike Bush and all but its a dicey thing stating something like that, be careful, its a federal offense to threaten the president. Now I know you're not actually advocating assasination, BUT I think you should be careful anyway. Just to be on the safe
side, I don't wanna show up at the board someday and find you've been subpoenaed. Again, I'm not saying this to be mean or anything, just a friendly word of caution.

Its true our government has a lot of flaws, but a lot of those flaws rest in the failings of those in power. However, the majority of those in power were elected legally by a majority of the people, so there are quite a few people out there whom happen to agree with them. I'm not necessarily one of them (and i'm not necessarily not one of them), but hey that's how it goes sometimes. But you leaving isn't going to change anything. You don't have to vote to get involved, join a political action group, start up a grassroots campaign, volunteer. If you don't like the way things are going, don't leave or get frustrated, Do something, and then when you're old enough to vote, do that too. But leaving isn't gonna change anything. If you really love America and hate where its going right now, don't abandon her, stay and work to make America the America YOU want.

I don't think it's unfair at all... I find that an overwhelming majority of Americans have this superiority complex over other countries (such as many people's ridiculous hatred toward France) and feel that it is their responsibility and right to go around the world and "fix" problems they were not asked to be involved in - on false pretenses, even.

I don't hate America... I'm glad I live here, really, and I appreciate the basic ideals that are the foundation of our government and respect the founders of our country and the basic democracy they created. However, I hate Bush with a passion, as well as most of the people in power right now and feel very angered by the corruption, dishonesty, etc. that takes place currently. Not to say that governments haven't ALWAYS been corrupt and dishonest - they have, it's a fact - but it seems worse now more than ever and I just wish more people would try to do something about it, especially here in the US where it's supposed to be about the rights of the people and founded on revolution and all that.

America is cool! Where else can you see an overweight 3rd grader downing two happy meals at once? (I actually did see that happen. I just assumed he was a third grader b/c he looked third grader-ish.) The only thing I don't like is the fact that John came to America and was shot down.

Dude, America is awesome, where else can a white man... well yall know the story. Shrub head might not be the best president and John may of died here but America is sooo awesome!
