I know exactly what you're going through  At our girls' camp, they don't let you use electronics. It's not as bad as it sounds, really. Last year, there was one night where there was the worst thunderstorm I've ever seen in Utah. So I stayed in my tent like I was supossed to (unlike Beth and one of my other roomies) and I sang Beatles songs. Eventually, Beth and Amanda came back, so Beth and I started singing Beatles songs, with harmonies and all. We were keeping ourselves from being scared of the thunder and lightning (we were in a tent after all), and we got to sing Beatles songs. Even if something like that doesn't come up, you can still just randomly break out and sing a Beatles/Paul song, and maybe you can find someone else that likes the Beatles too! It'll make it more bearable than just saying, "OMFG they won't let me take my CD player, I'm gonna die!!!!!!!" |
