I know we probably each have someone in our lives (outside this forum) who encourages our Beatleism- a parent, a teacher, a schoolmate, whoever- and i think we should take time to acknowledge them!
Here are mine- 1. Nate Wiseley- the guitar player in my marching band is a Beatles fan. We just spent an hour on a school bus discussing Beatles stuff. FUN!! We also have spent time watching Beatle themed marching shows together. 2. Mrs. Salotti- my English teacher of last year. She is, basically, a grown-up version of me! She is also known on the forum for being the teacher whom is spreading Mindy's GEPA song! *sings* "We all write with our yellow pencils...." 3. Carolyn Michaels- My schoolchum, and fellow Beatle fan. She was recently introduced to AHDN. 4. Christina Jasion- FRAU!!! 5. My parents!!

All my love of the Beatles can be credited to my parents. I owe it all to them, and I love them for it. XD

Originally, my mom... like, she got me into them when I was little, but now I know so much more about them that she had to teach a class on the Beatles to some eighth graders and she was going to have me teach it. So, then I would have to say, for a while, myself. And now, it's going to have to be you guys. It's nice to share the love with others ^__^

My mom introduced me to them, but didn't really encourage me to listen to them. It was basically her and my social studies teacher last year. I owe it to them, yes. ;D

I pretty much discovered them on my own, but my Dad encouraged me to listen to them more. He was the one that would drive me to the library to check out CDs and books.
To this day he's still the one that goes to Abbey Road on the River and sings and dances right along with me.
The Beatles are one factor that actually brought my Dad and I closer to each other. Growing up he wasn't really talkative, but music and whatnot have definitely made us best friends.

My Beatle love came from a producer (an on-air guy) at the radio station I work at. The guy is absolutely amazing. He's been working at the station for 32 years (his first night on air was the station's first night in existence), been in an EXCELLENT band for 23, and he's...god, I can't even explain it. He's charismatic, funny, and I just can't NOT smile around him. He's 50something (or, to put it as he does, he's 'had a lot of 28th birthdays'), but doesn't seem like it at all. He's one of my best friends. Another thing about him--he has got THEE most amazing voice ever. Speaking or singing, I don't really care--I could listen to him forever. It's deep, with just the right amount of gravel, and he's got a great laugh--I zone out while talking to him sometimes. For a long, long time he's been doing a half-hour set of uninterrupted Beatle music on Sunday nights, and I've been listening to it since I was about five. He's letting me put together a medley of songs to play some night soon--I'll let you know what I pick. ;D He happened to be on-air the night that John was shot, and found out about it in the studio. He's always told me that John was one of two of the biggest influences ever on him (the other was Elvis...HUUUGE Elvis fan too). He read the AP wire copy minute by minute, and it was the only time he ever cried on air. All the listeners cried with him. So yeah, he's the one who started my Beatle love--and has been encouraging it ever since.

my mommy!! When I was like 5 I used to sit in the back seat of the car and tell her to put on the tape with the "ranbow face" on it. Lol, the Imagine soundtrack with the little rainbow drawing of John. And me and my sister would sing. Too bad she likes really shitty music now, ha Buuuuut my mom has been giving me all her old stuff, like her cool little statues and plates and her George t-shirts from when she saw him in concert in like 74 or something. She was really close too she said, I'm very jealous of her. It's also good that she's a big fan because lately she's been trying to buy all the cds, since all she has are records which are like..outdated. and they end up in my car...so they're basically mine
