Hee hee hee. I love that part!
I have been trying (desperately) ever since my parents bought me AHDN on DVD to convert my friends to liking it. Some attempts have been more successful than others- for example, my attempt at my birthday party was HORRIBLE, because I was watching it after I woke up- around six AM, on the the computer, and as people started getting up they wandered over- and no one knew what was going on, because people kept coming in as soon as I was done explaining it to one person.
However, when I went on vacation to Maine a few weeks ago- I CONVERTED AUSTIN AND KOHLMAN, THE TWIN SKEPTICS!!! My friend's younger brothers kept coming over and to entertain them (and to keep them from killing bugs by putting bug spray in my sisters bug catcher and putting bugs in there) I put on AHDN, and they started popping by every day to see if they could watch it. (It also might have had summat to do with the fact that they dont have a TV at their cabin, and a month w/o entertainment takes its toll on 10 year old boys.
But to get back to the original topic....
when the twins came over, I kept labeling things in the movie, like, "Ssh! It's Ringo's hair dance." or "Twins! be quiet, this is when George does the stiff-legged dance!" Things of that nature.
