Anyone seen it? My brother's friend brought it over tonight so we could all watch it, and it was so great! There were a bunch of parts that were just so funny... my personal favorite was when John and George were doing a "commercial" for Marlboros and both being all cheesy...
"John?" "Yes?" "Have you got a cigarette for me please?" "Why, yes. It's MARLBORO." "Thanks!" "Yes, with a (...something about a filter? I couldn't hear that part too well)" "Yes!" "It's a big cigarette for a big man." "Ha. I will light it." "Yes, it's a Marlboro. With John and George."
Oh, I was laughing so hard. ;D

one of the best beatles dvds i own. "george and john buddies and pals" or something like that and ringo with 2 many bags ringo dancing in the club and paul's drawings of ringo when they are in the hotel in miami.
so many great moments...*sigh* i'm gonna go watch that again tonight.

Oh, yes, I forgot they said, "buddies and pals."
And George wearing that hat on the train! He looks right at the camera, smiles, takes off the hat, goes, "It's me!" and puts it back on. Oh, how I giggled.

that dvd is amazing. o and paul walking around in a crircle, looking like he is trying to get rid of the camera. i also like the part where they are at the interview in the airport and talking about how they are bald and george just got a hair cut. hehe.

Oh, yeah. When Paul was being a total spaz and walking around in circles...God, I rewind that part about 50 times everytime I watch it (which is everynight I don't watch AHDN)
And, on the train, I love it when John is smiling, notices the camera is on him and starts frowning. You can hear Ringo in the back yell "Smile, John!" and John pulls off this cheesy little lopsided smile, and Ringo laughs, "Oh, isn't he pretty?" (Check Avatar for reference.)
I love this movie. The special part in Miami in Extra Features is almost as funny as the regular scene in the movie. Ringo and George are trying to write a song,
"I saw your girl the other day. And you know what?" "What." "The wind was blowin'." "...Blowin' me girl?" "Oh, I messed that one up. Blowin' her hair all over her face!" "But she hasn't got a face."
I could go on about this movie for hours.

haha i remember that extra stuff. and i also like in the end of the credits when george is holding a apple with prongs and pretending to bite it and someone in the background a bit before says "apple for the teacher" or something along that lines.

I really enjoyed this DVD as well.. I've only seen it once though (and I own it..how sad is that?) because the DVD player keeps disappearing in my house (cuz another roommate owns it and when you live with 6 other people, things disappear). But it's fabulous!!! I love George in it, because you really get to see his cheeky and funny side... LOVE IT!

I've seen First US Visit, but my DVD is of the old version without all the extras. It sounds like the new one is something I must add to my ever growing wishlist!!

I love that song that George sings in the Miami hotel. "When I get up in the morinin' I'm gonna die, and get to bed at eight o'clock. Comin' home and back again, here he comes, Arthur Pem! Singin' guitar blues."
I love it!
