Well, my first love is Help! I have watched it sooooo many times since I was a tyke. It's wicked funny.
A Hard Day's Night is creeping up tho. I love it almost as much. So endearing!

lol... Well, the summer I discovered the Beatles, I would check out "A Hard Day's Night" from the library, and since no one really wanted to get it, the library pretty much let me keep it all summer. I would watch it 3 times a day that entire summer. Then I taped it off the classic movie channel... 10 yrs. later, I have the DVD and STILL love the movie.  |

Yeah, Help! is Beatle-goodness. What's your favorite scene from the movie? Don't know why, but every time Mal Evans pops up from swimming, I almost wet myself. |

My favorite scene is when everyone attacks the Beatles' house and they all have that huge fight while Paul is shrunk and sitting in an ashtray. There's a point where George is choking John by accident and John goes, "It's me, it's me!" George says, "Sorry!" but continues choking him and then John goes, "Well, stop!!" or something similar. My god, it cracks me up. And then Ringo's little kung fu moves are so hilarious, and then he starts (totally fake) crying when he's covered in red paint. That entire scene just makes me cry from laughing so hard.
Not to mention their house in itself is awesome. John's bed in the floor? I want one of those so bad.
Does anyone know if Help! will ever be on DVD? I've never seen it on DVD anywhere and I want it so much. My tape of it is about a thousand years old and losing quality. Probably from me watching it so much.

I own Help! on DVD, but I got it a while ago, so I'm not sure if it's still out, or do they stay like that forever? haha, I don't know, got it for Christmas one year.  The Help! scene I love the most... hhhmm, well all the attempts to get the ring, especially the washroom scene w/ the hand dryers and the elevator, sooo funny. Also, I like it when they're chilling in the castle and John/Paul are talking about how Ringo should cut off his finger, but Ringo is oblivious. LoL I love George: John: Hold on, it's them! Only me and Paul know we're here. George: I know we're here. so great, always getting left out. aww |

Does anyone know if Help! will ever be on DVD? I've never seen it on DVD anywhere and I want it so much. My tape of it is about a thousand years old and losing quality. Probably from me watching it so much. MPI put out a Help! DVD a few years back, but it quickly went out of print (stupid company!) You can find copies of the American MPI DVD on the Amazon.com Marketplace: www.amazon.com/gp/product/offer-listing/6304708491/ref=dp_pb_a//002-8392255-9937651?condition=all, but they're faily expensive. You can also find "import" versions there that are region-free, so they'll play on your DVD player. What Apple really needs to do is remaster the movie and re-release it. Compared to the MPI DVD, the remastered footage that they put in Anthology looks sooo much better. You also might try checking eBay for a copy. My favorite scene in Help! is the Buckingham palace scene where they're all trying to convince Ringo to cut off his finger. John's subtle hints and then bringing over that knife are just hilarious. I also love how George is desperate to win that game of cards and the money and even sneaks a peek at Ringo's cards. |

All hilarious...I crack up every time... as far as the DVD goes, I'm PRETTY sure you can get both help and MMT overseas on DVD....I'm not sure if that's much help. You can check ebay just in case |

Help has to be my favorite, although Hard Day's Night is close behind it.
I love how they end up in all these random places, like the Swiss Alps, Scotland Yard, and the Bahama's.

Thanks for all the tips on the DVD! I'm thinking I'll check Ebay soon. I want to find it as cheap as possible.  I had completely forgotten the scene with the hand dryers. So. Funny. George's shirt getting sucked out of his jacket and Paul grabbing the sink while it flies off the wall. So great. And then John and Geroge's "Ho." "Ho ho!" "Ho ho." Hilarious. Oh, and also: "It was you buzzing, you naughty boy!" ;D |

Did anyone ever notice that during the credits in Help! when "I Need You by George Harrison" is on the sreen, George yells, "I Need You by George Harrison!!" over the music very enthusiastically? And then again near the end of the credits for no apparent reason. ;D Adorable.

A Hard Day's Night!   "Who's that little old man?" When I first saw it, I had to watch with the subtitles, because I couldn't understand a damn thing, LOL. Now, I know the whole frigging script! LOL |

AHHH!! John in the bath!!! I LOVE that scene. Thanks, Sabrina for posting that picture! ;D I always thought it was funny that you could see John's swim trunks.. And Emma, I love how George yells that out at the end of Help!.. Ahh..gotta love our boys. Oh, and how sad is this...last night as I was falling asleep, I was watching A Hard Day's Night again but I fell asleep really fast and the last thing I can remember was reciting the script.  |
