"Isn't he a bitch like you and me" (Nowhere Man) .... nuff said  Anyone else have some misheard lyrics they want to share? ;D |

"Sunday monkeys won't play piano songs, play piano songs." --From Michelle. I have a book called 'Scuse Me While I Kiss This Guy: A Book Of Misheard Lyrics. It's the funniest thing ever, and that one was in there. What made me laugh when I saw the title of the book, though, is I used to sing that when I was little when I listened to Purple Haze.  |

(the girl with kaleidoscope eyes) <--- Bwahahahahahaha!!! ;D "His sister Pam works in a shop she never stops she's a coconut" (go getter) "I got blessed 'cause I'm the biggest!" (I've got blisters on me fingers!) <--- proof that Ringo IS indeed.  "...grab and lock a fish wife..." (crabalocker fishwife... though this one doesn't matter since crabalocker is a word that John just made up) "...she's a pr*** teaser..." (she's a big teaser) <--- this one is a VERY common mishearing! And totally unrelated to MISheard lyrics, but related to lyrics nonetheless, I ran across this website on British-isms in the Beatles lyrics. Fascinating. I knew alot of them though. |

ticket to ride: "before she gets a say in the back" -> should actually be: "Before she gets to saying goodbye" I have a very strange mind. "tried to please her, she only played for my sens"-> should actually be: "Tried to please her, she only played one night stands." okay, there is a meaning behind this. My city's hockey team is called the senators (sens), and ..well..this is where that came from. "Jojo was a man who thought he was a woman" (Get Back) .... I used to sing that before I could read! heh. this COULD make sense, seeing as the next verse goes, "Sweet loretta martin thought she was a woman, But she was another man" lol. I think mine are pretty wierd, hm? |

I didn't really mishear this one but I almost did. When I fist heard 'Get Back' I swore that he was going to say "Jojo was a man who thought he was a monkey" XD I was soon proved wrong.
