I have this album and I thought it was a great tribute!
I think they did a great a job and was very respectful. It just goes to show how many different mediums the Beatles have touched.

i've heard the entire thing more than once and i still don't like it.
i can appreciate the thinking behind it, honoring the beatles for their contributions to all music blah, blah. blah.
but i still don't like this album. i don't like rap, never had so maybe i'm biased, but that doesn't change the fact that i dislike it. i've never understood how some "artists" think that simply laying down a loud beat and laying some rather uninspired and often tasteless lyrics over a song is "writing" a piece of music or even contributing to the creative scene in the least.
but that's only my opinion.

For those who are interested in hearing some remixes, I got these from rec.music.beatles. They have a slight hip hop/house/trance feel on some, but they are quite cool! BTW, they are not all remixes. There is an Aussie band called Zoot doint a cover of Rigby www.math.mcgill.ca/rags/music/ReMix/
