So was Paul at the superbowl. ;D ;D ;D haha lol...you don't sound like it. No, have a favourite beatle by all means. That's perfectly fine. But don't get all obsessive and touchy just because I say something negative about him. He's not your blood relative or anything. Stop acting like a Mcartney fundamentalist

Um...sorry to interrupt...but...Kermit? Word to the wise. Don't come onto a Beatles forum and start negatively talking about any of the boys. Not a good idea. Not at all. I might think that Paul is a little egotistical sometimes, but that doesn't mean I'm going to rant on and on about why he is and why he isn't.
I don't want a fight to start... I just don't want to see you be chased out of here like Rahil.

As long as it's in the appropriate thread, I don't really see why not. This thread is about Heather mills and the negative publicity she is getting. Which is partly a result of her husbands actions. Anyway, I knew my opinions on this would create problems. So don't worry, I wont mention them again. I'll just have to keep my dislike of Paul, to myself.

So anyway, I guess everyones going to hate me now cos of what I said about Paul. I was just pondering to myself that maybe Paul's alright afterall. So here's a cake I just made to say sorry to all the die hard Paul fans whom I offended:

*takes deep breath* I hate to reignite a already burnt out flame. But I'll only touch upon a fare few things, things that I think need to be backed up. It's m'duty as a huge Paul lover, like Jan!
Wellllll! About how you said "5 minutes later he married Heather and the whole All You Need is Love, Yoko remarrying," you know I don't need to quote you.
Anyway, my mom was married to my stepdad for 10 years almost exact when he passed away, now I know my mom loved him very much, very very very much, and I know she still does. But now it's been almost 2 years and she's been engaged for a little over a year.
Now if Paul is marrying within 5 minutes, my mom must my a minute man! ...or woman. Because someone died doesn't mean the person doesn't have the capacity or ability to fall in love with another person again, I think, perhaps, even John would agree with that. Maybe, maybe not, honestly, none of us truly know.
Another thing, his connceitedness or whatever you'd like to call it over the Lennon/McCartney situation, if you look at the letter he addressed to the public he says that; 1: it's not Heather's fault. 2: It was foolish. There you are. So it's a good thing Yoko didn't let him change because he learned something.
I don't think Paul is a bastard at all, and I too have a teacher who's worked with him and Ringo saying they are fun down-to-earth people. Paul gets invovled with his music and cares about it. The end. He's not a car dealer asshole who will just be total jerk to people. But again that's all based on opinion too. Honestly too much opinion and not enough factual things.
In the 80s? ...? I'm confused.

no she said the tv show was from the 80s not the actual clip... am i right?? lol..I think what my good friends Mindy and Rivella are try to say is that John Lennon died in 1980, so I must be stupid for saying the clip was from the 80's. Well, the show the clip was on (a famous music show from the u.k), was from the 80's. And by all means, don't rule out the fact that the clip may well have been from the 80's too. Lennon died in December, so he was around a whole 12 months in the 80's.
