Hahah on my search for Mullet paul pics i found this great site today. Watch this:
Paul McCartney: Mullet Pioneer
Much work has been done to trace the history of the mullet. Various publications on the internet and elsewhere have traced the mullet back to President James K. Polk or even further to 16th Century revolutionaries in America. Some even claim that cromagnon man relied upon the mullet as a means for survival in a harsh, post-iceage era. But few have traced the recent resurgance of the mullet in contemporary culture. Mullet Madness schlongologists have identified former Beatle Paul McCartney as the man solely responsible for bringing the mullet back into the spotlight.
For what reason McCartney neglected his posterior hair growth is unknown. However, photos have been found show McCartney sporting the infamous coiffure as early as 1972. Neil Aspinall, a close friend of the former Beatle, indicated that, "[Paul] regularly referred to his mutated mop-top as 'the Wings of Pegasus' which clearly was the inspiration for his band name 'Wings.'"
Riding high on his "Wings of Pegasus," McCartney was ever in the spotlight as a pop-culture icon. McCartney's influence on an entire generation is undeniable. While the Beatles appealed to a huge international audience, Wings' "Classic Rock" sound expanded the Beatles fan base and opened the door for a new type of fan. Richard Havelock explains: "The Beatles were part of the development of an empowered suburban youth. While this clearly covers a large segement of the population, Wings was able to reach out to a less priveleged class of people. In the United Kingdom these people were the dock workers in Liverpool, in America they were the trailer park dwelling working class sometimes crassly referred to as "white trash."
By capturing the hearts of the up-and-coming working class Americans, McCartney unleashed the mullet into American culture once again. Since Wings, the mullet has become an indispensable element of hard rocking, boot scooting, high flying, good old American pop culture.
I so love Mullet Paul!!!!!!!
Oh and the funny site is: www.mulletmadness.com
