Heather loses temper with confused fan [from Contact Music]
Sir Paul McCartney's wife Heather Mills reportedly exploded in rage at a passer-by in New York last week, after he mistook her husband for his late Beatles bandmate John Lennon.
The pair were strolling on Manhattan's East 57th Street when accosted by the teenage boy, according to PageSix.com.
The boy yelled, "John Lennon! John Lennon," according to an onlooker, who adds, "Heather took it badly. She snapped back, 'No, you fool, he's dead,' before they walked away."

But that's terrible, I would never say that to someone even if i was sticking up for my husband.. I mean sure shes looking out for Paul. But couldn't she have said something a bit nicer? Like... 'No, It's Paul.'

Yeah you're right. This probably was a bit to direct. She also could have taking it like a joke and say: no silly, this is Ringo...or something.

Hm, well, i can't blame her for losing it, she may've just been having a bad day, and also, I'm having a hard time figuring out how someone could confuse Paul for John...

He didn't really confuse paul with John. It was just some stupid fella (just like one at my work) who think it's funny or okay to say such things.

He was a teenage boy Jan, I just thik he was confused. He probably thought he knew Paul was from the Beatles but the only name he could remember was Johns. *Shrugs*

Something I just thought of which I was about to say earlier, but I forgot it halfway through my post is that maybe it upsets Paul when people do that and it was just one time too many for Heather, and she snapped in his defense. I mean, it wouldn't feel too good to be mistaken for someone else...

It wouldn't be nice, But wouldn't it be terrible to basically get told to fuck off by a celebrity?

It could also be the media blowing this whole thing up. They tend to do that a lot. I mean to say that is a little brutal. She probably said it in a not-so-nice tone. Like you know when you say something to someone and it sounds snobby but you didn't mean it to be..? Who knows though. The press tends to bend things to a more exciting level. That is why when I go into communication I won't stoop down that low.

Hrm, I don't think this issue is really big to the press. So I don't see why they'd blow it up.
