My peace ones were only about 25 dollars. For some reason, the peace ones are hard to find, but then they're always really cheap. Apparently not many hippies wear cons?

Wow, really? I've only ever seen the peace sign ones in one place, and they were expensive.

Ech, sorry, but Chucks in the summer? I wear sandals through the spring, summer and fall - with socks underneath if it's cold. (I'd probably wear them all winter too but it snows a lot here so my socks would get all wet.) I only usually wear sneakers in the winter or for gym class. I'm in love with my Cons and all, but they cramp my feet in the summer XD I have a pair of Birkenstocks that serves me well oh god I'm such a hippie. Haha ^_^

I used to do that too, Crow, when I was in HS. Sandals every day and when it got cooler, wear them with socks. But eventually my friends would be like, "Geeze, Patty, don't you know that sandals with socks is a MAJOR fashion no-no?!" Thankfully, that was around the time when the snow came up to our knees. Oh, and back to the Chucks, yeah.....I left 'em at my Dad's house so I won't be able to wear them until the next time I go to his place. Oh well.... And I really wish I had access to a scanner because I found a picture of John wearing Chucks in one of my magazines. If I can find the one up at the radio station later, maybe I'll scan the picture in and post it on here. It's a cute picture too...from when he dressed up like a teddy boy/Elvis for Halloween or something.

What magazines do you get that have pictures of John in them? Apparently all my magazines suck. The picture sounds adorable, though.
My friends immedietly said it was a fashion no-no because all of my socks either have animals on them, or are tie-dyed all psychedelic like with crazy neon colours.

Aw, cute ^__^
I guess I'm not going for the John merchandise stuff as much because I'm trying to look LIKE him so he wouldn't be wearing his own merchandise. I've yet to order the NYC shirt so I guess I won't have it for the first day of school - maybe I'll save it for December 8th. Except I won't be able to wait that long, maybe I'll save it for October 9th.

heh. I just oredered those shoes. I was debating whether or not, then I read this...
Beatles fans will soon be able to buy their very own John Lennon sneakers, after Yoko Ono agreed to a deal with Nike to produce trainers featuring her late husband's image, reports Hellomagazine.com.
The shoe, which is being manufactured by Nike's subsidiary Converse, is in the same style as those worn by Lennon on the cover of the Abbey Road LP.
It features a self-portrait of the legendary musician on the side and the words Imagine All The People Living Life In Peace emblazoned across the toe.
A percentage of the profits generated by the shoes will go to nonprofit organisations working to promote world peace.
And Converse has promised to issue a new design every year until that noble aim has been achieved.
